In March of 2006, the residential community at Circuit Road would be shocked by news that 2 year old Nurasyura binte Mohamed Fauzi - affectionally known as "Nonoi" - had gone missing. Over the next few days, family members, along with police, neighbours, and some strangers, would search tirelessly for the toddler, desperate not to let a tragedy unfold.

But unbeknownst to almost all of the search party, the mystery of what happened to Nonoi was far closer than they had anticipated.

On the morning of 16 June, 2005, a cleaner was making his usual rounds along the banks of the Kallang River in Singapore when he spotted something odd in the water. At first, he dismissed it as just another piece of thrash, but when he picked it up, a severed torso fell out, leaving him in complete shock. 

Part 1 - We follow the police investigation as they look into the grisly findings along the Kallang River, and its connections to a Chinese migrant named Liu Hong Mei, and her illicit lover Leong Siew Chor. 

Part 2 - We dive deeper into the motive for the gruesome murder, and relay the events as they happened on that fateful June day in 2005.

In 1936, businessman Kichizo Ishida stepped into a discreet hotel in Tokyo to meet with his lover, Sada Abe. It had become routine for Ishida in the recent months, him putting aside his duties and responsibilities for days on end to indulge in the affair. But his sins would eventually catch up to him when he failed to leave the hotel; with the name of his lover ominously etched onto his skin.

Part 1 - We follow the background of the mysterious Sada Abe, and the journey that led her into her fateful encounter with Kichizo Ishida.

Part 2 - We explore the fallout following Abe's brutal crime, and how she was eventually put to justice.

In March of 2002, a seventeen year old girl bursts into a police station in Kitakyushu, Japan, to make a startling report. She tells the authorities about a man, an apartment, and about the people who were brought inside but never made it out alive. She tells them that the dead were dismembered and boiled and disposed of so thoroughly that nothing remained. She tells them that the man who orchestrated all of it did not do the killing himself but coerced others do it. 

She tells them she is the only one left who can say any of this, because everyone else is dead.
