Heavy Hitters host Ben Chamberlin was brought up around heavy music. Driven by the aggressive sounds of a distorted electric guitar, Benno has an outstanding knowledge of music and is also heavily involved with Heavy Choir – the heaviest harmonies in Melbourne. So I guess you could say, heavy music runs in his veins!

Heavy Hitters is an adrenaline-charged show, showcasing artists from heavy metal wizards Black Sabbath, Metallica, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest; to heavy rockers AC/DC, Def Leppard, Van Halen and Kiss; and heavy ballads from bands such as Heart, Guns N Roses, Scorpions and Boston. Heavy Hitters takes you on an intense, virtuosic, and powerful trip down a heavy musical memory lane every Wednesday night from 10pm on 96.5 Inner FM.
