Those who are using their rental properties for Air BNB are being warned of the risks.
The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment has banned a Christchurch unit from offering short term rental accommodation.
It's because it doesn't meet the building code requirements for guest accommodation and was originally consented as a household unit.
