The Government's issued its formal response to the Covid inquiry, accepting all recommendations in some form - with some caveats. 

Health Minister Simeon Brown says emergency support in future shocks will be timely, temporary, and targeted.

The Government's promising key advice in a future pandemic will be made public within five working days.

"I know of parties in Parliament that could take a very different approach, as they did last time, but I think that's the point of a Royal Commission, and that's the point of how we've responded - saying, actually there's an important point around keeping expenditure to what's necessary."
