Anthony Albanese has become the first Australian Prime Minister to visit China in seven years- touching down in Shanghai yesterday.
He's trying to improve relations with the country's biggest trade partner.
Australian correspondent Oliver Peterson says Albanese is expected to meet with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping to repair the damage left by Scott Morrison.
