Nicola Willis: Finance Minister responds to National dropping below 30 percent in new poll

View descriptionShare

Both major parties took a hit in the recent Taxpayers’ Union-Curia poll, with both Labour and National dropping below 30 percent.

National holds the lead at 29 percent, while Labour has tumbled to 25.9 percent - and the Greens have jumped to 13.9, ACT is on 10.5 and Opportunity has fallen all the way to 4.5 percent.

National's Nicola Willis says the party is committed to reminding voters that it aims to fix the basics and build the future - and to highlight the proposals of the opposition parties.

"We've been delivering a lot of policies, whether that's universal KiwiSaver, extending paid parental leave, extending eligibility for first home loans, reducing the student loan repayment rate - we've been delivering a lot."
