The Green MP told to go back to his own country by Winston Peters says the NZ First leader conducted himself 'carelessly'.
After Lawrence Xu-Nan heckled him about his vaccination status, Peters fired back and today said he was 'supporting democracy'.
Chris Luxon's labelled it 'attention seeking'.
Xu-Nan says it was an attack on his identity.
"What is also important is freedom of expression - it doesn't necessarily mean freedom from consequences."
