Labour leader Chris Hipkins says there's more to National's failed coup than meets the eye - claiming many of the party's MPs want Chris Luxon replaced.
Parliament held an urgent debate on the sacking of Chris Penk this afternoon, who was removed from Cabinet after launching a challenge against the Prime Minister.
Luxon says Penk was acting alone but Hipkins says that's 'laughable'.
Newstalk ZB senior political correspondent Barry Soper unpacked the debate further - and says it's unlikely we'll find out the full details of the vote.
