"I got into a silly yet heated argument at the grocery store the other night. I was in the checkout lane that said ‘10 Items Or Less’ when I noticed the woman in front of me had 13 items. When I kindly told her she was in the wrong line, she barked at me and said she only had three items. I counted three apples, four tomatoes and six potatoes. She said the apple, the tomato and the potato are three items. A manager heard us scrapping and moved her to another line. He told me not to come back if I was going to be confrontational again. I don't think I did anything wrong. Did the woman have three items or 13? Should she be allowed to go through the line that says ‘10 Items Or Less’?"
