If you find yourself counting down to your next day off every Monday morning, you’re not alone. Not every job is a dream job, but the work we do today can still be an opportunity to honor God.

Colossians 3:23 reminds us to work wholeheartedly, as though we are working for the Lord. That doesn’t mean staying in an unhealthy situation or giving up on pursuing something better. It means choosing faithfulness wherever God has placed us right now.

Takeaways from this episode:
• Don’t let an unfulfilling job convince you that life only begins on your days off.
• You can honor God through ordinary work.
• Treat your coworkers and the people you encounter with kindness and integrity.
• Keep pursuing the next opportunity God may have for you.
• Your job is part of your life, but it doesn’t have to define your life.

Wherever you are working today, ask God how you can be faithful there. Your current job may not be your destination, but it can still be a place where you honor Him.
