When you’re dating someone seriously, it’s easy to fall in love with who you believe they could become. But what if they never changed?

A healthy Christian relationship isn’t built around the hope that you can change or fix the person you’re dating. Instead, it requires an honest look at who they are today and whether your relationship is helping both of you grow closer to Jesus.

Takeaways from this episode:
• Ask yourself if you would still choose this person if they never changed.
• Don’t build a relationship around someone’s potential.
• Your partner isn’t your project to fix.
• Consider whether your relationship honors God.
• Look for a relationship that encourages you to follow Jesus and love like Christ.

You don’t need a perfect relationship. But you do need an honest one that honors God and deepens your relationship with Him.
