Shalom! We continue our series Journeying with God. After receiving Yeshua and learning to trust God and His Word (Step 1), this week we focus on Step 2: Obedience. Rabbi teaches that the evidence of a changed life is marked by obedience, which flows from God’s love for us (2 Corinthians 5:14-15) and is not burdensome (1 John 5:3).

We look at powerful biblical examples — Abraham’s complete trust and obedience in Genesis 22, and Saul’s partial obedience in 1 Samuel 15 where “to obey is better than sacrifice.” The message emphasizes that real obedience requires specific sacrifice and surrender of our will, speech, emotions, and even our countenance. Drawing from John 15 and Matthew 16:24, we are challenged to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Yeshua so that His joy may be in us.
