1. Dr. FRED BUCKHOLD, SLU Care General Internist at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, and a professor of medicine at St. Louis University School of Medicine.  How concerned is he about a new COVID variant that is sparking a summer surge warning?  Who really needs to get an updated COVID vaccine? The Biden Administration is considering reclassifying marijuana as a Schedule 3 controlled substance instead of Schedule 1.  What does that mean and what are the implications?  What's happened to all those pre-Ozempic obesity drugs?  Are they still prescribed?  Are they effective? Budget friendly?  And cholesterol experts say everyone needs a little-known blood test.  What is it and does he recommend it?
2. Dr. MICHELLE LEE, professor of radiology at Washington University School of Medicine and a breast imaging specialist at Siteman Cancer Center.  The U.S. Preventive Task Force has updated its breast cancer screening guidelines -- moving the age for that first mammogram up from 50 to 40 years old.  And it says mammograms are needed every other year until the age of 74.  Why the update?  Is this a good move?  Does she agree with these new guidelines?  What about women with dense breast tissue?  Do they need supplemental screening?  Prevention tips?
3. Dr. JEFFREY TECKMAN, professor of pediatrics, biochemistry and molecular biology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.   SLU researchers have identified a biomarker for severe liver disease in infants.  It is called Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency.  What is it?  Who does it affect?  How dangerous is it?  Is there a treatment?  How was this biomarker found?  What will result because of this discovery?
4. EMILY OSTER, author of the new book "The Unexpected: Navigating Pregnancy During and After Complications."  She tells the hosts of CBS Mornings about the questions she hears from moms who had complications during pregnancy.  Half of all moms have some sort of complications during or after pregnancy.  Dr. CELINE GOUNDER, CBS News Medical Contributor and editor-at-large for Public Health at K-F-F Health News -- with more on those new updated breast cancer screening guidelines for women.
