Dr. Buckhold just got back from a medical conference in Boston -- where he gave a speech on the use of a daily aspirin in patients who have not had a prior heart attack as a form of prevention.  He says that long held belief doesn't pan out - and he would not recommend it.  A new report finds long term outcomes after rehab are not very good for Medicare Advantage patients.  Dr. Buckhold agrees.  And Dr. Buckhold explains why good doctors aren't afraid to go onto the internet and look for answers to conditions that they might not be totally familiar with because of its rarity.  He says AI should be able to help doctors gather info they need.

Dr. JADE JAMES-HALPERT, OBGYN at SSM Health DePaul Hospital.  Each year in the United States, hundreds of people die during pregnancy or in the year after giving birth.  For women of color, the problem is only getting worse.  This past week was Black Maternal Health Week.  What are the risks black mothers face?  Why the disparity?  Is post-partum care getting the focus it deserves in the U.S.?  Dr. James-Halpert talked with KMOX's MEGAN LYNCH and TOM ACKERMAN.

SHANNON MILLER, 7-time Olympic gymnastics medalist.  In 2011, Shannon Miller was diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer.  She survived but suffered a lot of GI problems while going through chemo.  She is offering advice and hope for cancer patients dealing with chemo.  She advocates supportive care -- and use of the Enterade drink to help deal with symptoms.  How did her sports background help her in her struggle?  What's her take on the 2024 USA Olympic gymnastic hopefuls?

Dr. YIN CAO, assistant professor of surgery at Washington University School of Medicine and Siteman Cancer Center.  Senior author of a new study just released on accelerated aging in younger Americans possibly leading to increased risk for early onset cancers.  The study finds the biological age of the cells of adults under age 55 -- if born after 1965 -- is much older than their chronological age.  What does that mean?  What are the implications of this finding?  What is the message for younger adults?

Dr. SANA SAIF UR REHMAN, Washington University hematologist and director of the new Sickle Cell Treatment Center at Barnes Jewish Hospital.  This is the first of its kind in the St. Louis area - a dedicated adult Sickle Cell Treatment Center. This will allow sickle cell patients faster and easier access to treatment when they are hit with a sickle cell crisis.  How does it work? How big is the Sickle Cell community in the St. Louis area?  Why was this needed?
