But now, with relaxed restrictions, a narrower criteria for counting COVID-19 deaths, and the lack of reporting on asymptomatic cases, has led to rising concerns that the COVID-19 situation in China is much worse that what the data says. So will 2023 be 2020 all over again? Prof Tikki Pangestu, Visiting Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore joins us to share his thoughts.
