Honolulu police are investigating a hit-and-run crash early Thursday in Waianae that left a moped rider in serious condition. The incident happened around 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of Farrington Highway and Alapoko Street. According to police, a vehicle struck the 51-year-old moped rider while attempting to overtake him.
