Two free divers in their 20s apparently drowned early Sunday after getting into trouble in waters off Oahu’s North Shore, first responders said.

The investigation into what went wrong continues, but HNN has confirmed the two were in-laws.

Nearly two weeks after devastating flooding, Molokai residents say recovery efforts are making progress and they’re grateful for the help and donations coming in. On Oahu, Waialua firefighters are back at their station about two weeks after it was flooded. A search-and-rescue mission is underway after Iran shot down a U.S. fighter jet; one American airman has been found and another remains missing.
