A High Surf Warning has been issued for the north and west shores of most of the islands as the first in a series of extra large swells is set to arrive Wednesday. The National Weather Service said the warning will be in effect from 6 a.m. Wednesday until 6 p.m. Thursday for the north and west shores of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu and Molokai and the north shores of Maui.
