Gov. He also issues a direct call for power grid reforms and proposes a second deep-water harbor on the Big Island to secure Hawaiʻi's shipping resilience.

Then, OHA Chair Kai Kahele outlines the agency's $500,000 emergency fund used to airlift supplies to isolated Kaʻū communities. Kahele also discusses OHA's demand for a seat in military land-lease negotiations, updates the agency's due diligence on a potential purchase of local television stations KITV and KIKU, and explains OHA's plans to develop residential housing in Kakaʻako Makai.
