We've seen the destruction left behind by Hurricane Lala, but sometimes the emotional toll on victims lasts far longer than the damage. Power in Pahala, including Ka'u Hospital is now restored, but HECO says about 1,400 customers are still in the dark. A veteran-led nonprofit is working on Oahu and Hawaii Island to remove storm debris in neighborhoods and roads impacted by Lala.
