Hawaii Island police are investigating a deadly car crash in Waikoloa that killed one teenager and seriously injured three others. Police said it happened just before 8 a.m. Thursday when 17-year-old Jessica Sprinkle was making a left turn from Waikoloa Road onto Mamalahoa Highway. Investigators said that’s when her car was broadsided by a tractor trailer transporting water.

Authorities are asking for help from the public to help find Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Today Show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, who went missing over the weekend. And a settlement was reached in a mistaken identity case that got a former Honolulu man locked up and committed to the state hospital for years.
