University of Hawaii David Lassner publicly addressed his decision to fire athletics director Craig Angelos Thursday morning. Tuesday’s announcement stunned the community, including student-athletes and longtime supporters of the program. Angelos had only been on the job for 18 months before he was notified of his dismissal by outgoing president Lassner.
