The woman who was killed last week Thursday after being struck by 2 vehicles in Kaneohe has been identified. The medical examiner identified her as Tasha Madela of Honolulu. The incident happened around 2 a.m. on July 18 on Kamehameha Highway near the Pali.

Hawaii Gov. Josh Green says the cost of storm damages have totaled more than $1 billion. As Oahu's north shore and Maui were starting to recover from back-to-back Kona Lows, a sudden and intense storm in town caused a deluge of damage yesterday. And traveler frustration is growing as the number of TSA workers calling out sick continues to grow due to the DHS shutdown.
