As Christ journeys toward the cross, He warns against self-righteous performance and greed while inviting His followers to live free from anxiety, trusting their Father who knows their needs and delights to give them the Kingdom. This passage calls us to examine our hearts, seek first God’s Kingdom, and rest in the assurance that we are forgiven, provided for, and secure in Him.
