A conversation about something that I couldn't stop thinking about after watching, "MY LIFE" - the documentary on Queen Mother Mary Jane Blige & her Sophomore album of the same title.  I was heavily focused on the way we carry childhood trauma with us for decades, sometimes even when we think we have healed those broken places. A 9 step method to help prepare you for beginning the journey toward HEALING your own childhood trauma. You must do more work than these 9 steps, but it's a great start!

If you have not seen the documentary, it can be found on Amazon Prime and IT IS SO WORTH IT!!! It’s so delightful.  It filled me with JOY and sadness and curiosity, anger and of course PRIDE. Queen Mother Mary Jane Blige is the epitome of GRACE.  She is ultimately the human personification of the Black Girl Experience in America. As a Black Woman. As a Black Girl. Without even knowing that I connected so much to her story, I knew I was connected to her as a human.

Queen Mother Mary Jane Blige is an INTERNATIONAL TREASURE and we are blessed to have experienced her in our lifetime.  GO WATCH THE DOCUMENTARY - A$AP, NO ROCKY!!!
