The daily average of 123 firearm-related deaths includes about 13 from mass shootings, while drug overdose deaths average 294 per day, emphasizing the need for effective policies. The data highlights the diverse and unique experiences within a population of 335 million people.

Start off at the Lawrenceville Lights, a free drive-thru Christmas lights display at the Lawrenceville First Campground. It's open from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 7-9 and Dec. 14-16. Head over to Sugar Hill City Hall on Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the Sugar Hill Holiday Celebration and Tree Lighting. Enjoy food vendors, ice skating, and performances from local musicians. Join the Lilburn Tree Lighting event on Dec. 9, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Lilburn City Park. The parade starts at 4 p.m., followed by the tree lighting and musical performances. Experience the classic holiday tradition of The Nutcracker presented by Gwinnett Ballet Theatre. Shows run from Dec. 8-10 and on Dec. 14 at the Gas South Theater. Additionally, 94% of respondents own a personal smart device that can track health, and 78% are confident that AI and tech companies would protect their health information.
