Beth and Kirsti from Safe Passage were our Guest DJs. We talked about April being Sexual Assault Awareness Month. They have two big events in April including their Walk A Mile event at the Convo and their Take Back The Night Vigil as well. They also have some fundraisers at Farranda's and Willret Flowers as well.
Cami from Voluntary Action Center was our Guest DJ! We talked all about their upcoming Volunteer Appreciation event on March 12th. We also highlighted their big fundraiser on April 4th featuring the Bad Momz of Comedy at the Egyptian Theatre!
Ben Bingle from the DCNP/Give DeKalb County was our Guest DJ. We talked all about the first steps in registering for Give DeKalb County. You need to be a DCNP member by March 1st in order to see if you can participate as a non-profit! We go over everything you need to know to get started.
Mikayla from the DeKalb Park District was our Guest DJ! We talked about a ton of great events coming up. From a family skate night, to egg hunts, to golf, there is a TON going on!
Samantha from the DeKalb Public Library was our Guest DJ. We talked all about World Of Reading which is coming up in March. This is a huge event for them where they have six immersive worlds you can dive into. We also highlighted a Sourdough Class, a Ragtime Concert, and a program on the Rockford Peaches. All which are in line with the America 250 celebration.
Greg from Arcomusical was our Guest DJ! We talked all about their big event on Sunday, Transformation Through Rhythm! It will be at Dekalb High School at 3pm and feature several different performances. It will be a lovely day of music that is also a fundraising event in support of DCNP’s 2026 Give DeKalb County Bonus Pool.
Sarah and Anne from Barb City Manor were our Guest DJs. We talked all about their resale shop! They have a sale going on right now where specific items are half off. They are also taking donations as well. Plus, they have a few apartments open as well.
John from DeKalb County United and Tim from the Sycamore Education Foundation were our Guest DJs. We highlighted what each organization does and who they serve! We specifically talked about the Bar Crawl coming up on 2/28. This is not only a fun bar crawl and a day to get out but, it will benefit the Sycamore Education Foundation.
Sara from the Clinton Township Public Library was our Guest DJ. We talked about some of the offerings the library has but we really focused on a huge event this Sunday. They are hosting their first "Love Your Library" Author Fair on Sunday from 11am - 3pm at the Community Center. There will be 22 authors you can meet with, live music, and even a taco truck!
Sara from the Corn Fest Board was our Guest DJ. We highlighted the Corn Fest Sound Stage lineup for this year! This lineup has something for everyone and will be one for the books!
