Kelsey from the Kishwaukee Family YMCA was our Guest DJ. We talked all about Summer Camps, Summer Programs, and their awesome specials they have to join.

Jess from NIU Steam and Josh from the College of Performing and Visual Arts were our Guest DJs. We talked all about their incredible summer camps they have coming up. There is literally a camp for everyone! No matter what your interest is, you'll find it! 

Sara from the Corn Fest Board was our Guest DJ. We talked all about the volunteer opportunities available for Corn Fest Weekend. There are many positions and shifts available and it's a complete blast! Learn why you should get involved. 

Melissa from Heartland Hospice was our Guest DJ. We talked all about breaking the stigma of hospice, the benefits of hospice, and how getting in early can be beneficial. 

Samantha and Theresa from the DeKalb Public Library were our Guest DJs. We highlighted some awesome events in May and then dived into June. Summer Reading kicks off June 1st and is open to all ages! Plus they have amazing events coming up like an Art Gala, Live Music, and more! There is truly something for everyone at the library! 

Elijah, Addy, Luke, and Allie from Lightbeam Players were our Guest DJs. This is a theater group for kids, by kids, that performs unique shows for the community. Sleepaway is their latest production debuting at the end of May. This show was written by the kids in the show and is sure to be a fun one. 

Andy from the Kishwaukee United Way was our Guest DJ. We recapped Give DeKalb County and highlighted the Day Of Caring. That is coming up on June 11th a very exciting day where people will be volunteering at different places throughout DeKalb County and some exciting announcements will be made! 

Meg and Heidi from Stage Coach Players were our Guest DJs. We talked all about a collaboration they are doing with Safe Passage for this upcoming show to collect donations for them and how they are connected to the community in many ways. Their production of "Street Car Named Desire" opens on Thursday and it will be a "do not miss" show! 

Deanna from the DeKalb County Mental Health Board and Ashley DeKalb County were our Guest DJs. We highlighted Mental Health Awareness Month, the Mental Health Art Show coming up on My 14th, and the Mental Health Proclamation on May 20th, plus more! 

Ben Bingle was our Guest DJ. We talked all about Give DeKalb County. May 7th is a day where you can give online to a nonprofit (or a few) of your choice and your donations will be boosted by the Bonus Pool! This is an epic day of generosity, kindness, and fundraising, and these dollars will help our community in many ways.

Sarah from the Rotaract Club of Sycamore was our Guest DJ. We highlighted what the club does and recapped the Pints for Pups event! We also went over some upcoming programs and why its a great time to join. 

Lynette from Adventure Works was our Guest DJ. We highlighted their services, what they do, and how you can help them for Give DeKalb County. They are doing a special Coffee/Hot Chocolate Drive thru from 6-10am on 5/7 to collect donations for Give DeKalb County! You can also donate online all day long!

Jessi from Glidden Homestead was our Guest DJ! We talked all about Give Dekalb County. We dove into what they do at the homestead and why it's important, what it means when you donate, and what is covered by those donations for the homestead! They are strictly donation funded so, this is a huge day for them. 

Crystal and Brooke from Opportunity House were our Guest DJs. We talked all about the "Art In Bloom" art show that is coming up. This is a going to be a great night out where you can walk through a beautiful backdrop and look at art! We also highlighted Give DeKalb County as well. 

Christine and Rebecca were our Guest DJs. We recapped Sexual Assault Awareness Months and two of their biggest events. We also highlighted Give DeKalb County and how your donations can impact survivors right here in DeKalb County. 

Anna from the Dekalb Chamber was our Guest DJ. We highlighted the DeKalb Chamber Foundation and what they do. This is also their first year participating in Give DeKalb County. 

Dean Dave Grewell and students Alex and Michael from the NIU College of Engineering and Engineering Technology were our Guest DJs. We highlighted a special event tomorrow at the NIU Convocation Center: The Senior Design Showcase! This event is the culmination of a years work for their seniors and a way to show off the amazing work they are doing. This is open to anyone and free and all are encouraged to attend. Go see what these brilliant students have created! 

Nicole, Larry, Alyssa, and Derrick from DYFL were our Guest DJs. We talked all about how the league is transitioning to tackle football this year. They have a Parent Night Out event on May 1st to invite kids to come try out the league and see if they'd like to join. They also have a camp in June as well. Also, listen for the end of the discussion, they threw in a special bonus for anyone who signs up. 

Mikayla from the DeKalb Park District was our Guest DJ. We talked about some awesome events coming up at the Park District including Camp Discover, Co-Ed Golf League, Mother's Day Wildflower Walk, Summer Minis, and so much more. 

Jessica from CASA DeKalb County was our Guest DJ. We talked about the importance of Child Abuse Awareness Month which is wrapping up. We also highlighted what it takes to be a volunteer, the Color Run coming up, and specifically the Hands Around The Courthouse event on 4/29.

Samantha from the DeKalb Public Library was our Guest DJ. We highlighted some fun events coming up including Sound Healing, Jazz In Progress After Hours Concert, and more! 

Cami from Voluntary Action Center was our Guest DJ. We talked all about the vital services they provide to the community. We highlighted Give DeKalb County, what your donation means to them, and how you can help! 

Scarlett, Emma, Gabriel, and Leon from Sycamore Middle School were our Guest DJs! We talked all about their production of Wizard Of Oz debuting May 1st and 2nd! It's going to be a fun and music filled production and they hope to see you there! 

Ben Bingle from Give DeKalb County was our Guest DJ! We talked all about Mail In Donations starting 4/23! We also highlighted different ways to give, how many non profits are participating, and so much more.

Virginia from the DeKalb Chamber was our Guest DJ. We talked all about the Local Showcase and Spring Show coming up on Thursday, 4/23 at the NIU Convocation center. There will be over 100 vendors where you can come and meet the community. Different businesses and non profits will be there waiting to meet you plus lots of activities for kids. It's free and free parking as well! 

Denise and Jessica from Barb Food mart were our Guest DJs. We talked all about Give DeKalb County which is coming up May 7th. We also highlighted the Donation Dash which is Saturday and we did a save the date/tease for the Masquerade Ball coming up October 17th. Similar to the prom but, a new theme! 

Sarah and Anne from Barb City Manor were our Guest DJs. We talked all about the fun things that they provide recreationally, the Resident Assistance Fund, Give DeKalb County, and more! 

Andy from the Kishwaukee United Way was our Guest DJ. We highlighted a college scholarship coming up in May, Give DeKalb County, the importance of 211, and more. 

Holly (and Laddie) from Family Service Agency was our Guest DJ. We talked all about what they do at the Child Advocacy Center. We also highlighted that is Child Abuse Awareness Month so in honor of that you can look out for the pinwheels in their lawn. We also talked about the Walk To End Child Abuse which is coming up on Saturday April 25th at Hopkins Park! 

Susan and Kendra from 4-C Community Coordinated Childcare were our Guest DJs. We talked about the vast services and programs they offer. We highlighted that Week Of The Young Child kicks off this weekend and they have a plethora of activities to celebrate. Monday, it kicks off with Music Monday. They will have a variety of online and in person activities all themed for developing your child! They will also have some raffles, too and so much more!

Heaven from the DeKalb County Mental Health Board was our Guest DJ. We highlighted some great events coming up like the Mental Health Art Show and a great panel discussion on how to prevent burnout and more! 

Jill from the Sycamore Library was our Guest DJ! We highlighted some great events coming up including a concert for kiddos, a ukulele strum and sing, and we talked about Give DeKalb County to name a few! 

Karson from Rooted For Good was our Guest DJ! It's a very exciting time for Rooted For Good right now. Their greenhouses at RFG Kirkland open April 28. There are a lot of exciting events planned for opening week as well, including hanging basket design class, customizing your own planter, veggie 101 led by RFG Kirkland's program participants, and ending with the spring open house on 5/2. 

Jessi from the JF Glidden Homestead was our Guest DJ. We talked about their current series, Past Times at Glidden where they are hosting all sorts of cool classes like Barn painting and candle making! We also talked all about Give DeKalb County coming up in one month. 

Christine from Safe Passage was our Guest DJ. We talked about a ton of stuff going on with Safe Passage this month. It's Sexual Assault Awareness Month so they have a flower fundraiser with Willrett Flowers and Take Back The Night at the end of the month. We also highlighted Walk A Mile and Give DeKalb County as well. 

Scott from Stage Coach Players was our Guest DJ. We talked all about their new show opening on Thursday 4/9 called "The Play That Goes Wrong." This is going to be a hilarious show you won't want to miss. 

Anna from the DeKalb Chamber was our Guest DJ. We talked all about their upcoming events including the Local Showcase and the next Gather event plus so much more! 

Melissa from Heartland Hospice, Lindsey and Caitlyn from Fox Valley Community Services were our guest DJs. We highlighted what each agency does but specifically the Community Care Fair coming up on April 7th. There will be some informative panel discussions plus a resource fair where you can get tons of information! 

Jeanine from the Egyptian Theatre was our Guest DJ. We highlighted some great events coming up including the Bad Momz of Comedy show which is a fundraiser for VAC and Meals on Wheels, the DeKalb County Volunteer Fair, and more. Plus we highlighted Give DeKalb County! 

Anna from the Rotaract Club of Sycamore was our Guest DJ. We highlighted some amazing things coming up including the Hygiene Drive that kicks off today and runs throughout the month of April. We also highlighted a new event called Pints for Pups coming up on May 2nd at Jonamac Orchard. 

Robin, Emily, and Nicole from the DeKalb Chamber Leadership Academy class were our Guest DJs. Their group project is going to be the DeKalb County Volunteer Fair on April 9th at the Egyptian Theatre. From 5-7pm, you'll be able to walk through, talk to 32 different vendors who all have volunteer opportunities available. If you are looking to get involved in the community, this is the place to do it! There are lots of options for all likes, ages, and tastes. The group has worked really hard to put this together. Other group members not present for Guest DJ include: Casey Bachochin from DeKalb Township, Megann Horstead from Shaw Media and Charles Schmitt from DeKalb Mechanical.

Ben Bingle and special guest Evy Bingle from Give DeKalb County were our Guest DJs. We talked all about what it means to give, participate, and be part of this special day. We also highlighted why you should donate, the bonus pool, and so much more! 

Sara from the Corn Fest Board was our Guest DJ. We talked all about the different volunteer opportunities that are available at Corn Fest. It takes around 300 volunteers to make the festival a success so, if you are looking for something fun to do for a good cause, you can get involved and volunteer. 

Cami from the Voluntary Action Center was our Guest DJ. We highlighted their Stand Up For Seniors Fundraiser which features the Bad Momz of Comedy at the Egyptian Theatre. This comedy show is on 4/4 and will be a hilarious night out. They also have a great raffle going on as well the "Cool Prizes, Warm Hearts" where you can win some great Yeti products! 

Mikayla from the DeKalb Park District was our Guest DJ. They have a ton of stuff coming up for the Spring/Summer season. We highlighted some spring things including the Easter Egg Hunts, Yoga/Tai Chi classes, and Baseball kicking off. The new guide is coming April 1st as well and that will have all the details on the summer programs like Camp Discover, Music At The Mansion, and more! 

Xena and Lisa from CASA DeKalb County were our Guest DJs. We talked all about what CASA is, what they do, and heard from a volunteer advocate! Lisa shared what its like to be a volunteer with CASA in detail. We also highlighted many great events happening to support CASA in April! 

Samantha and Patrick from the DeKalb Public Library were our Guest DJs. We talked about some awesome things happening in April at the Library. Between after hours concerts, goat yoga, new tools in the open lab, and more, there is a ton to do! 

Zach from the Kishwaukee Family YMCA was our Guest DJ. We highlighted a great special they have to join the Y this month! Plus, Healthy Kids Day is April 10th. We highlighted that event and it's also the kickoff to register for summer camp! 

Kim from Habitat for Humanity was our Guest DJ! We highlighted some exciting things including:  30th Anniversary of their affiliate Give DeKalb County goal of $30,000 Groundbreaking Ceremony at our Duplex Site (weather depending) on Thursday, May 7th Welcoming Corporate Teams to our build site during the work week  We will be hosting teams the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month starting in June

Madison from Coco's Closet was our Guest DJ! We talked about the Prom Dress Drive that is currently happening. She is collecting prom dresses for a free boutique shopping event on April 18th! Prom dresses and formal dresses are expensive and she wants to help ensure every girl going to a prom or a formal event feels great without barriers like high prices! You can donate a dress or you can set up an appointment to shop with a personal shopper on April 18th!
