Dave from DeKalb Fire, Jen from Northern Illinois Hospice, and Annette from Northwestern Medicine were our Guest DJs today. We talked about an upcoming class they have collaborated on which is free and open to the public on November 20th at the DeKalb Public Library or online on December 12th.

Attendees will learn about the File of Life Initiative, the Knox Box Program, Advance Care Planning, and how to initiate difficult conversations with those they love. This session is both educational and empowering and will leave you feeling more confident and prepared for a medical emergency, should one occur.

This event is a collaboration between Northwestern Medicine, DeKalb Fire Department, Northern Illinois Hospice, and DeKalb Township.
