Greg and Dan talk with Matt Stein, stand-up comedian, about an upcoming benefit show for Mike Armstrong, a former police officer and fellow comedian recently diagnosed with lymphoma cancer.

Matt’s mission is to support Mike’s fight by donating all proceeds from the show directly to him. The night will feature several comedians who have worked with or opened for Mike, including our very own Greg Batton!

The show is happening September 12th at 8:00 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM at 3300 Event Center.

Marty shares the story behind his popular live storytelling series, “Marty’s Monologues,” which first debuted in 2018 before taking a break during COVID. Now, after five years, it’s finally making its comeback with a brand-new show titled “You’ve Got Jail” - happening this Sunday, November 9th at Kenny’s Westside Pub.

Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the show begins at 7:00 PM. Marty also talks about what inspires his writing, what fans can expect from this new show, and what’s next for both his blog and storytelling journey.
