Greg Belfrage talks to listeners about Trump's statement that mail-in voting is cheating, but then he turns around and mails in his vote.  Greg makes the point that military members are the only ones that should be allowed to do mail-in voting and Trump is commander in chief which is part of the military.  Greg also talked about mail-in voting vs. absentee voting.  Most agreed with Trump that mail-in voting was cheating and democrats wanted to keep it that way.  However, multiple people supported Absentee voting.

Greg Belfrage talks to listeners on how the partial government shutdown is affecting the TSA.  It has been one month since the partial government shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security.  The cost to the travel agency has been steep.  TSA agents are calling in sick so much that airports might have to shut down.  Most listener reactions were to blame both the democrats and the republicans for not setting aside their differences and funding the government.

Greg Belfrage interviews the voice of the Sioux Falls Stampede, Jim Olander.  Jim gives an update on everything Sioux Falls Hockey including their most recent wins against the Lincoln Stars and the Fargo Force.  These recent wins make this 11 wins in a row for the Stampede.  The recent win against the Lincoln Stars secured the Stampede's place in the Clark Cup Playoffs. Their upcoming games on March 20th and 21st will be against the Sioux City Musketeers.

Greg Belfrage goes over last night's discussion of the relocation of Smithfield Foods at the Sioux Falls City Council meeting. Residents near foundation park brought forward complaints of the smell and the increased traffic in the area that would make it hard to live there. Council member Vernon Brown said during the meeting that the Development Foundation has been planning this a long time.  Greg also pointed out that Smithfield Foods has plans to build a new state of the art facility that should cut down on some of those complaints.

This Bill will be argued and voted on in the Senate this week.  Trump wants to get rid of the filibuster so they can pass the bill without the 60-vote majority needed.  Thune's sticking to his guns but republicans are saying if they can't get this act passed, they will blame Thune for the republicans losing the midterms in November. 

Greg Belfrage talks to listeners about the FCC chairman, Brendan Carr's threats of revoking broadcaster's licenses.  This threat is against specific media outlets whose reporting has been considered by the Trump Administration as hoaxes and news distortions (fake news). The consensus from listeners was even though there is a lot of fake news out there those threats go against the first amendment.  Also, that is government overreach.  The government should not have control over private businesses.
