Jim also mentions Linards Feldbergs winning goal tender of the week for his shutout performance.  The Stampede are currently neck and neck with the Fargo Force for first place in the league.  However, the Stampede have two tough games coming up against the Tri City Storm.

Some thought that they were safe because the live in the Midwest. However, people in the city might not be as safe and mentioned 9/11. Others thought people in general were scared of getting into another 'forever war'.

According to the democrats we are entering an endless war similar to other wars.  According to Benjamin Netanyahu the middle east has a lot to gain from these strikes and will set up the conditions for Peace.  Most listeners said no it would not be an endless war, but were glad the Ayatollah was struck down because he had been terrorizing the entire Middle East and the world.

The democrat's response included Tim Kaine and other democrats wanting to have a vote on a war powers resolution. John Fetterman was the only democrat to side with Trump.  Listeners frustrated responses to congress were that the Iranian government were terrorists, and they are grateful that the attack happened.

Greg Belfrage goes over the latest update on South Dakota deciding to ban soda from SNAP benefits. This passed in the South Dakota House and Senate.  The state is waiting for Governor Larry Rhoden, but he is giving pushback.  Most listeners who called in agreed and said that the S and N in SNAP stands for Supplemental and Nutritional.  To ban soda is to reinforce those parts of the program.

Greg Belfrage checks in with the Sioux Falls Stampede as Jim Olander gives the rundown of everything Sioux Falls Hockey.  Recently the Stampede had a good game against the Omaha Lancers, but the Fargo Force continue to be a tough team to beat. Some tough games coming up against 5th and 6th seated teams Lincoln and Des Moines.  This Saturday, February 28th, Sioux Falls residents can see the out-of-town Stampede game at the final watch party of the year at either Buffalo Wild Wings location.  The watch party starts at 7pm. Get there early for seats.

In Trump's State of the Union, Greg Belfrage talks to listeners about what the voters want to hear from Trump at the upcoming State of the Unions address. A lot of listeners wanted Trump to go over the SAVE act and how a fair election is important. Greg also mentions how the NYC mayor needed 3 forms of ID to shovel snow but none to vote. Other listeners wanted to Trump to go over how the ICE agents are treated. Another listener wanted Trump to mention his peace deals. 

Greg Belfrage goes over the latest development on Trump's tariffs. The Supreme Court recently struck down Trump's far reaching tariffs. In response Trump raised the Global tariffs by 15%. Also, the refunds from the tariffs have been moved from the supreme court to a lower court.  There is not scheduled time as to when those will be decided on. Also, Greg read over some responses from Facebook.  Some people felt the effects of the tariffs and others did not.
