The Last Word..... Minnehaha County Deputy Katherine Frank was 26 years old. She answered a call Friday night in southwest Sioux Falls and did not come home. She died yesterday, surrounded by her family. She had been with the sheriff’s office a little over two years. Before that she worked at the state penitentiary. She was an organ donor.

May she rest in peace.
