Greg and Phil talk with Chuck Gabbert, owner of C.T. Gabbert Remodeling and Construction, and Peggy Jacques, Founder and Executive Director of Graceland Center for Purposeful Aging, about their shared passion for bringing public art and community connections to Peoria. He discusses what inspired him to incorporate murals and artwork into spaces throughout the city, while Peggy shares Graceland Center's mission of helping older adults stay active, connected, and engaged in their communities. Together, they discuss the creation of "Celebrating Generations: Peoria!", a new mural at C.T. Gabbert's headquarters in the Warehouse District. Funded by AARP and designed by local artist Megan Couri, the mural brought together more than 20 children and 30 adults to celebrate the importance of relationships across generations and the contributions of older adults. They also share how the project came together and preview the official ribbon-cutting ceremony happening Wednesday, October 21, at 10 a.m., at 1323 SW Adams Street in Peoria. The event is free and open to the public
