A half-forward, Beers was a member of Collingwood's 1958 premiership team and kicked the first and last goals in an epic and historic grand final at the MCG. 

Once Brian had decided to retire from VFL/AFL football, tennis resumed its place in his life and he played at a high level before heading into the game’s administration.

Starting dance classes at the age of four, Stanley went from ballet to gymnastics to becoming a five-time world champion in two disciplines. 

She then went on to purchase a gym and started doing aerobics which led to international stardom.

Watt is an Australian racing cyclist who won two medals at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain (gold in the road race, and silver in the pursuit)

She has been able to juggle an academic career with her chosen sport which has taken her all over the globe.

She is also heavily involved in promoting sports amongst Australian youngsters and is having a big impact.
