How conscious or proactive is your practice when it comes to sustainability?

The NHS has a plan coming to be net zero by 2040 but what does that mean for you and your team and how can you help achieve that?

One area you could look at is prescribing inhalers which contributes to 13% of carbon emissions. That’s one of the things we’re going to be talking about in this episode.

How can you support sustainability in General Practice?

The General Practice Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (GP CPCS) was piloted and launched in Manchester in late 2020.

It’s a pathway that general practices use to refer patients with minor illness or low acuity conditions to a community pharmacist.

In this episode we find out how it’s been going since it was launched and offer advice to any practices thinking of getting involved.
