Vagabond #10 Tale of the Unlikely Prince clip- November 10
Welcome Back to our new Gospel Rant series called Vagabond Diaries. We are finding fun and creative ways to proclaim the love of God for the unlovable, the unloved, and the unlovely. To accomplish that, we will use every trick in the book: story, drama, satire, comedy, mystery, and even a fun visit to a counselor’s couch to help unpack some biblical truth and application.
In today’s Vagabond Diary, I want to read a teaser from my children’s fantasy for young readers 10-15 Tale of the Unlikely Prince. The unlikely prince, Yeled has convinced his adopted father, the King that he needs a quest to prove his enoughness and princeliness to the King and the people of Garden City. –and of course, himself. The King winked at Nomos the Royal Vizier and ordained a quest that is harder than any other quest ever, one that would be impossible for any prince-- including Yeled. Why? You’ll have to read it to find out. But in this chapter, the Prince heads out on his newly ordained quest accompanied by the Royal counselor Noomai. Enjoy.
