CHASING THE WIND

Episode 6: I Tried Success

What Happens After You Get There?

Central idea: Success isn't the problem.

Asking success to prove that your life mattered is.
When I finally graduate.
When I finally get married.
When we finally have children.
When the kids finally sleep through the night.
When the kids finally go to school.
When the kids finally leave the house.

Apparently, children are involved in a surprising amount of our happiness planning.
When I finally get promoted.
When we finally buy the house.
When I finally make six figures.
When I finally publish the book.
When the church finally grows.
When I finally retire.

And somewhere beneath all those sentences is a quiet promise:

When I finally get there... I'll finally feel like I've arrived.

Q got there.

And that's what makes him dangerous.

And now, it’s your turn…
