Welcome to Gospel Rant, and our new series, Chasing the Wind!

We all know this person.

Whatever subject comes up...

they've done the research.

Nutrition?

They've done the research.

Parenting?

Research.

Politics?

Oh, Lord. They've definitely done the research.

Marriage?

Research.

Money?

Why your knee hurts?

Give them three minutes.

Then:

And somewhere around 2,500 years ago, one of these people apparently got hold of a pen.

Enter Qohelet.

“I applied my mind to study and to explore by wisdom all that is done under the heavens.”

Of course you did.

And then he tells us:

“I have grown and increased in wisdom more than anyone who has ruled over Jerusalem before me.”

This is an extraordinary self-presentation: Q claims exceptional wisdom and sweeping observation—“I have seen everything that happens under the sun.”

He is the pinnacle of humility…

Ladies and gentlemen...

meet Q.

We will see what you think.

And now, it’s your turn…

Dr. Bill's passion is to proclaim God's love for the unlovable. We want to help beat-up, frustrated and weary Christians hear the music again. We can do this. Just grab a cup of joe, sit back, enjoy, follow, leave a review and enter into the dialogue. Bill@gospel-app.com.
