Eight-week-old, Golden Retriever, Maisie joined our family. Through agility training, she grew to know my husband’s voice. Slowly he began to take her on adventures. She heard lots of noise—birds, cars, trucks, people. She followed Jim’s voice—sit, stay, heel, stop.
Maisie stayed content during adventures with Jim. Our lives are noisy today. Work, school, family, friends, social media constantly vie for our attention.
As Jesus says in John 10:27, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
I PAWNDER, do we spend enough time training with Jesus to know the sound of
his voice and follow him amongst the noise?
