At two years old and afraid of her shadow, yellow lab Khaki came to live with us.
She didn’t like men, especially in ballcaps. My husband Jim started taking reluctant Khaki to his shop. At first, he bribed her with treats but soon she followed him willingly. Then Khaki, the shop dog, led the way! She adored Jim and his visitors, even men in ballcaps. Time with Jim changed her heart! Khaki overcame her fear, spent time with Jim, trusted him, confident in his love.
Jeremiah 17:7 and 8 say, we are blessed if we trust in the Lord and have confidence in Him.
I PAWNDER. Do we spend enough time in God’s “shop” to develop trust and
confidence in His love for us so we overcome our fears?
