We have old-fashioned screen doors. The creaky kind with the big wire spring.
I tell Bullet the Border Collie, “Sit. Wait,” so I can open the door for him. At first, he sits. But then, he charges ahead. He wonders, “How can Meg take so long to open the door?” The screen door pops Bullet in the nose. OUCH!
Waiting! It’s a challenge to wait for doors to open! We want to help. Surely, God needs our contribution.
Psalm 147:5 says, “Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure.”
I Pawnder what will go better in our lives if we wait for God’s power and understanding to open doors?
