Belle, the black lab, loved to run and fetch on our 40-acre ranch. I worried when she got out and ran without me. Would she hurt herself? Get out on the neighbor’s land? Oh no, if she did, they might shoot her for chasing their livestock. So many dangers out in the world on her own! One day, when she got out, I was relieved to find her sunbathing on the driveway content in her family and
home. She never ran off again.
I admit I ran away from my Father’s house into a dangerous world. Now I am
sunbathing on the driveway content in my Father’s home.
I Pawnder, after finding home, do we flee from God in new ways? If so, how can we sunbathe in His love again?
