美国财政部长耶伦今年来不断疾呼美国众议院提高美国政府债务上限。耶伦严厉警告，众议院如果不提高债务上限，美国最早可能在6月1日就耗尽资金。此外，若美国无法按时还债，将导致债务违约，并引发经济与金融灾难。
