在军人政府执政九年后，泰国将在5月14日举行2014年军事政变以来的第二次大选。各路政党摩拳擦掌。有的政客寻求继续掌握大权，有的家族势力希望卷土重来，也有新一代的政党认为，这是一个改变泰国的机会，是一个世代的选择，是黑暗现实和光明未来的选择。

泰国有大大小小86个政党，其中较有规模的共有13个。他们各有怎样的背景，提出什么诉求？泰国会变天吗？

Thailand will hold its general election on May 14. This is the country’s second general election since the 2014 coup d'état. The incumbent Prayuth Chan-Ocha is seeking to retain his position as the prime minister while Paetongtarn Shinawatra, daughter of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, is staging some sort of a political comeback for her family. A rising star in the political scene and a hot favourite amongst the candidates, Pita Limjaroenrat urges for change in this election.
