The following is a presentation of the College Athletes Network talked to bottom like I mean, Jalen, Drew, Joel Um, Andrew came on late, Anton was huge, Aaron Cook like all those All those guys contributed to us winning. And the reason why we were able to string together thirty two in a row was with a season like that is because we're so tight, and that's what I remember most about that season. What's Up? Everybody? Welcome into the Give Me Timmy Podcast with Drew, Timmy and myself Noah Bono on I Heart Radio and the College Athletes Network. This is episode eight of the podcast. Just want to thank everyone that's tuned in and been rocking with us these past eight weeks. Drew, what's up, baby man? Great glad to be back for episode eight. Guys, make sure you leave a star wide review, trop a comment, anything and everything you can do will help give you some good karma going into the new year. We're switching up from Christmas. I mean, not me, but you know different. Hey man, we got a lot in store today as well. After our first commercial break, we're gonna have Drew's former Gonzaga teammate current shooting guard for the Washington Wizards sharp shooter Corey Kissbert joining us after we bounce around a little bit here in segment one. True, let's first of all, first and foremost, how was Christmas? Being home with the family for a few days, and then you probably got more days off over Christmas break than you have had in a couple of years. I mean, so talk to us, how is Christmas? Man? It was great, man, just getting getting able to just get away from everything and kind of just take a break. Obviously physically my body needed a break, but mentally it was nice just to kind of get away, get home, be low key. I mean, I did not do a thing. I do not blame you. I just ate, drank and chilled and like it was awesome, and uh, it was definitely needed, just because it's been a long, long, uh season, just with all the schedule and the rigorousness of it and everything. So it's nice to get away. What were we eating and drinking? Do you guys have a standard Christmas Eve? Christmas Day dinner menu? So what we did this year is we had Thanksgiving food because we didn't have we didn't get to like a real Thanksgiving with the family, so we were kind of like screw it, Like, let's just have Thanksgiving and Christmas together. So like that was pretty cool. So did you do the Thanksgiving dinner on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? Christmas Eve? Yeah? Okay, I like that. I mean, I don't like turkey enough I want to eat it that much, but got this Cajun turkey m s occasion anything slaps. Last time we talked to you, guys were gearing up for that Montana game, and there's a lot to touch on from that game, simply from the fact that not only did you guys win, you were had a monstrous performance, but there's a couple of things that came out of it. You dropped thirty two, eleven and five Gonzaga, and the team sets the modern day record for most consecutive wins. It's most consecutive home wins at seventy two straight. And on top of all of that, you get your hundredth career college win. A fucking incredible man like, all in one night. I mean, first of all, congrats to you, but like just talk to us about you dominate on the floor. You get this home consecutive win record, you get your hundredth career win for the Zags, like and in your college career. I mean, just like, what's that feel like? Break that down for us all in one game, Like that's crazy? Yeah, I mean, um, I think I've been around for most of those seventy two wins too, which is crazy. And then to have a hundred wins total, it feels like it's a lot, but at the same time, it doesn't, just because we've played so many freaking games. So it was pretty cool to see that. And then obviously, um our buddy Sean just motivated me to get the thirty piece. I made sure to make my free throws when I got close to thirty so his son won't be disappointed in me anymore. Let me right, there no no offense to Sewan. That game was for me. We have been talking about that for weeks. Okay, so but that ship was for me. It was for you and him and his son, not him. Yeah, appreciate that, but continue but yeah, man, uh you know, uh, montanad not want to let us get that record. Let me tell you they they're a good physical team, and it was. It was a grinder of a game. And uh, I would say typically like I'm not a fan of really like taking over games. I like to be more of a facilitator, I would say, but uh, that's what the game kind of dictated, just because of we were kind of bogged down at the kennel. It was it was great, like it was packed, but the students weren't there. Energy was dead. Everyone was kind of ready to go home, and uh, you know, I kind of just had to get in that mode where it was like screw it, like this record and everything, like I'm not letting it happen. And that's kind of just the route that we had to take to get the team takeover. Were you aware that that was your gonna be your hundredth career win as well? Though? Did you know the only thing the only thing we knew about was the home record. I had no idea and I don't that was my hundredth winn until after. This is just a pretty cool feat though. It's just like shows kind of what we talked about back on episode one, when you were like, you know, I think something that gets you know, overlooked about me is that I just win. And yes, this is truly only your fourth season, so it's not like you're one a hundred games and it took you into your fifth year, like you one a hundred games and you did it not even I mean just to I guess around the halfway point of your fourth year. So I think it's more than impressive. And I mean, on top of it, last five games, you're averaging ten and four on sixty just dominant numbers. I know your humble, I'm gonna be cocky for you, man, but just absolutely busting ass out there, like it's gotta feel good. Get into a rhythm flow of the season, Like I know your body has been a little banged up, you know here, and they're just like everybody else, is the grind of the season. But I mean to maintain that headed into conference play, like you're probably at least mentally you're feeling pretty good every time you step out there. Yeah, man, I mean as a player, like when you just get easy buckets, especially just with all the double teams I get and all the attention and just the shift of the defense when I touch it. It's like just getting easy buckets is so huge, and I think that's been the like the way I've been able to score. Just the guys are just finding me in easy positions where I can get to a quick cooker, I'm running the cord or it's a rebound put back like stuff where I can't get doubled and have to deal with the whole defense loaded up on my side. Has really helped, I think, obviously get me more points. And then Julie and I have been beefing for a top rebounder on the team because he had it. I think he's at like I don't know what he's at, but we we've been going back and forth on that because I always say I box out and then he runs in and gets the rebound from me from the pocket. So we have a nice slow competition going on with that. So hopefully I don't want to give that one back up to him. Is he up in the is he close with you? In the per game rebound? Per games? He was ahead of me until this stretch that I've been going on lately. That's like a typical guard thing to kind of come in and just stealing from the big. I mean, you can only do so much. But I've been saying to you though. The reason I I said to you before like that thirty intent was for me is because I was saying to you the one day after the pot I was like, dude, I know it's hard, but like I think if you just like went out there and you were just like really gave it your all every second of the game and you you know, finished plays with rebounds like you could easily get thirty intent and you were like hesitant, but then you're like, yeah, you're right, Like two games later, you fucking did it. So I'm not saying I take credit for it, but I'm goddamn I'm goddamn happy. I'm goddamn happy. I'll be cocky for you because of you. Man. Now you're giving me the full Now you're giving me the full credit. It's my podcast partner, man, That's what we do. We motivate each other and push we do. We push eath we put. We push each other before and after the pod. People don't know that, but we do. They don't know. They don't know equity in this podcast. Oh God, talk about eight episodes and we're sweating our balls off in here. It's crazy though, because like you're mentioning, you know, you mentioned something about being in the post and getting your shots off and like just to have thirty two points and you should I don't remember exactly what your percentage was in that in that game. Um, it was obviously efficient, like I said, your six over the course of the last five games. But like I would just want to like, if I'm guarding you, and you know, if I'm Montana, if I'm Kent State, whoever, Like why aren't people just punching you in the ribs, like hitting you, hurting you. Like I'm not saying that they should, but like like it would be it would be fuck you, man, Like what do you I'm not letting this? What do they can't do anything else? They clearly can't guard you in just a normal way, like they gotta inflict a little bit of pain. No, I ain't gonna lie. In the Montana game, they were hitting me like all the time, like just hitting the running down and yeah, and I mean like obviously within like the bounds of the game or whatever, but like they're being extra physical. And there was one play like early in the game where like Bro just was like I was trying to back him down, you know, without getting a charge, a little cautious and Bro, it's just munching me. And I'm like I turned the ball over and I'm like it's right. In front of Montana bench and I'm like, ref what the funck, bro, Like, what are we doing? Like? And he's over there and all the Montana dudes are laughing at me or like saying this, and I'm like, I look at him. I'm like, y'all are fucked now. And then I went off like they did team me up a little bit, but uh yeah, they I mean they tried that, and I mean, I don't know, I just feel like you're you're just probably so annoying to defenders out there. It's like, oh, and by the way, I gotta bring this up. That that fucking Coast to Coast dunk, the rebound and the over the top punch. It are you? Who's that guy? That's been me? That's been me since high school? Man, that's uh, you gotta look at my boss life highlights. That's that's a staple. That's a staple of Drew timmy transition bag. When I saw the clip, I'm like, Okay, Coast to Coast like probably gonna make a play or have a nifty finish. I did not think I was gonna see a swim move over the top. Yam it in your mouth? Like I've watched the video a hundred times. The over the top is my signature, the dunk. That's not the signature. That's not part of the package. But it happened, and I was like, I was so little, was like like you and I didn't even I'd even stroke my stash. After I was sad, I was like, damn, that would have been an O D one Damn. And then degeneration exit, you know, okay, not to mention it. I know we don't have full videos, so people wouldn't know this until they see some of our highlight clips. But Mr Timmy brought back to stash. It's back in full effect for conference play. I mean it was after Christmas, so like it's basically a new year. So I was like, you know, it might just be time to switch it up for a little bit. Um A little bold of me to switch it up, I would say, because I've been I've been killing with the beard as you alluded to earlier over these games stretches. But I figured, you know, uh might a new year. Knew me, maybe I'll get Stash back. So if I do get in the stash, maybe I'll have to keep it then. Yeah, Drew actually has no respect for December thirty one and the fact that the new year doesn't start for another couple of days. He keeps saying that the new year just starts right after Christmas. That's how this guy's calendar works. Pretty I don't know what the fun is wrong with him, but I mean, basically it's a new year. Like what major holiday happens after Christmas? Like you know what I'm saying, Like after Christmas, it's like bet, like I'm getting ready for the new year. Like let me go ahead and lock into what I got in January and February. Like New Year's is fun, like the ball drop been great, great ordeal, great part of great vibes. But like basically it's the new year. Yeah, And I mean there's no like I guess religious holiday that comes up again until Easter. There there's like MLK Day is their Veterans Day or Precedent's Day, there's one of those days in January. Yeah, but like it's the last major holiday, so like it's great the last major as a new year. Yeah no you no, No, I mean that's fair. Like I said, you just got a weird calendar. Weird guy, weird calendar. I mean it's good. If it's the bill, it's all right. So conference play before we hold it head to break, just like you got Eastern Oregan is not in your conference, so we'll skip them. But like after that, it's it's conference play from here on out. How are you feeling headed into it? You go from nonconference to conference and this conference play is going to be the gear up for you know, putting together your team's complete package headed into the postseason. So it's important play no matter what conference you're in. Yeah, and um, this conference is it's a little tough this year. I mean obviously b y U, I mean there's having kind of a down year for them, but uh, I mean they beat crighton the other month or week or whatever it was. But I mean, like, so we got a kind of tough conference this year, Like if we got a lot of talent in there, a lot of transfers. So I mean, if we don't show up, I mean we've seen that against n I U, Kent State and Montana, Like if we don't come with our ship tight and locked in, then um, we're not the easiest team to pull the win out. And if we're not fully locked in, So I mean it's it's gonna be a good challenge for us to be mentally engaged every single game, night in the night out. So I think for this team in particular, it's gonna be a big challenge for us. Yeah, it's gonna be fun though, it's gonna be exciting to watch. I'm excited to see you guys kind of keep putting it together. Riding up five. At this point, I lost track of the wind streak. It's five or six. But you guys have been playing well. You're headed into conference play, a lot of momentum, a lot of confidence, exactly what you need. Um, So the wheels are turning the right way. And lastly, before we go to break that, Dallas Cowboy win first, then them Eagles on Christmas Eve? What a Santa and I were gonna have a long talk if the Cowboys lost that game and it wasn't gonna go well for Santa. I was so excited that we won and everyone was like, oh my god, you guys beat a backup quarterback. What the hell did the Eagles do after they beat us? When we had Cooper Rush playing, they had Meek Mill having a concert, and everyone's going crazy, like, keep that same energy. We're gonna bring it right back. So Eagles hold that fat l like I love it. That made my Christmas like if I got no gifts, nothing and that was it, Like I was happy, Like that's all I need in my life. Yeah, I don't blame you. And I mean when Dak threw that pick six to start the game off, like, it's not like the game started off easy for them. They were downten nothing in first five minutes of the game. Like hey and t Y Hilton got his full contract. Where at that game he got the huge penalty which led to a touchdown I think, and then he caught the third and thirty or whatever past like what a pick up man. Look at Look at Jerry just wheeling and dealing with the pickups. Just a great football game. I wish he would wheel and deal and go get Odell Beckham. But we'll save it. I don't think it's gonna happen. I don't think it's gonna happen. Um. Oh, and you mentioned Christmas. Give us your your favorite gift that that you got Christmas morning. I really love getting clothes because that's just one of those expenses where I'm not like really gonna buy clothes like that. So I got this awesome sweater from my brother. I would show it, but it's probably not the most appropriate thing that has Cartman here, it's a south Park sweater. South Park, the best sweater. And then um, I got some pajama pants, some jeans, you know. So it was just overall great Christmas for me, and uh it was it was. It was great. Man, got some clothes, some essentials that I needed. How about yourself? Man, you get some good gifts? I did. I gotta. I got some like necessities, packs of shirts, underwear, uh, socks, just the essentials. Like you're saying that I didn't the best gifts, like six eight years ago, I'm throwing hands if I'm getting closed, but like now I love close, salty prick if that's what I got six Yeah, Like if you don't give me, like I don't know, an iTunes gift card or like some like action figures set, Like, Mom, I'm where's my iPad? Why did you get you gotta be a back of underwear? I wanted an iPad. I wanted Apple Watch snots or like some new nerve guns or something like I need something. I need something elite as a kid. But now, like if I get clothes like, I'm a happy camper, not facts. I'm on board with that. And I got a ton of stuff that was needed that I didn't want to spend my own money on. So shout out to my mama. Um. All right, we're gonna take a quick break here on episode eight. Please don't go anywhere though, because we come back. We're gonna be joined by the NBA Sharpshooter form a Gonzaga Bulldog, Drew Timmy's former teammate Corey Kissburg coming up here on the Gimme Timmy Podcast right when we come back, And we're back on episode ad to Give Me Timmy Podcast with Drew Timmy and myself Noah Bono. Please remember to subscribe to the podcast, drop us a star or a written review. You can also follow the podcast page for video highlights of every episode on Instagram and Twitter at give Me Timmy Pod. But right now, let's welcome in Mr Efficient himself, former zag currently on the Washington Wizards, Corey Kissper. Corey was good man, welcome into the show. Appreciate you joining us. Good to have you. Yeah, man, of course, thanks for having me UM, so starting us off, Corey, you guys are thirteen and twenty one, not fourteen and twenty one. Excuse me, just one only two or two and a half games out of the plan. It's still really early, a ton of basketball to be played. But I think just start us off with just like your second year, how it's gone, expectations that have been met or not met, and just how you're feeling during your second go around in the NBA. Yeah. Man, the difference between year one and year two is so different. Like, I feel way more comfortable. I know exactly where I'm gonna get my shots. Um, the flow of the game all, I mean, everything is just more comfortable. Um. The first year, you're just kind of trying to find your footing and be as best as you can in the you know, in the role that you're given. You know, I was just outside the lottery, so I was able to kind of play right away. Um, but you know, the majority of rookies in the NBA are just kind of getting in when it fit in, and your two is kind of a chance to carve out your role and set up your future. So, UM, I'm off to a good start on that. Um, Like you were saying before we started, my numbers are up, and you know, I just feel better and better out there every game. Um, it's a it's a world of difference from your one. Yeah, man, that's dope. But obviously numbers up, you've been very efficient. I see Zach twitter tweeting about you a lot, man, But the moment I could really tell the confidence was there. Man, was that half quarter the other week? Just that was amazing. Man, you were the Mr. Half court guy when you're at Gonzaga. So how great did it feel to finally hit one in game in an NBA game? Let alone? Do your listeners know about the half court tradition Againzaga, I think they're getting for Yeah, Well, before the before every game, we have a shoot around and just kind of the classic shoot around and get some shots up, get your body moving, go through the other team. Um. It can kind of feel like a drag sometimes to be honest, and we check out a lot. But um, when you go um down to the stretch. Um. At the very end of the shoot around, we each shoot one half quarter going each way, and we all line up and we take one and we have one of the managers mark them down. Um. If you make them and mark it down. If you make a second um, so you make two of both of them during a shoot around, you get three, so they add a third under your total UM. And I was the undefeated and undisputed champion in my senior year at Gonzaga, and so it just felt like a normal day, normal day at the office. Man just caught it. Took one trible left right, and I think was cash all the way you pulled that thing, as if you were just standing shooting a free throw. It was just look effortless. But I mean, you're shooting this year, which was something I wanted to ask you about because last year, I think you like thirty four from the three line. Now you're you're up in the forties, which is like kind of where a guy like you wants to be in the NBA, just to solidify yourself as just a marksman. Like I introduced you on the show before you got here, is you know, sharpshooter, NBA sharp shooter. That's kind of what you're set out there to do. But you you mentioned like carving out a role in like just being the player later on, like this is what this year will help frame Like the type of career you're gonna have where what kind of career do you see yourself? Like? Are you you you look at yourself as like a JJ Reddick, a Kyle Korver. You think you're a little bit better, Like where do you kind of put yourself? Yeah, it's a combination of a lot of that stuff. Man. J. J. Reddick is a really good example. I think of guys who can really shoot it. Um obviously are a marksman from behind the arc and can beat teams that way. But UM, I really do think that I have the ability to play inside the line at the NBA level two. UM on every scouting report from every team across the league, like the number one thing is gonna be like, don't let this guy shoot. You can't let this guy get threes off. Um, do everything you can to get him off the line. And it's my job to counter that. And so UM J J was really good at putting the ball in the deck. Joe Harris has gotten really sneaky good at that too. UM. Even guy, even a guy like Clay Thompson, you know, to the extreme level, UM can get downhill and finish at the rim or shoot floaters or fifteen footers. So, UM, that's kind of the the trajectory that I'm going and I'm heading for UM and I want to continue the way I'm playing this year for sure. What what what would you say has been? Um the biggest thing you've either had to change your ad from year one to year two just because you have done so well. Yeah, it's arc on the shot. Um to get super technical and nerdy. Um. When I miss I missed short and that's because of that's a product of a flat shot. So when I'm on and I'm cooking that I got some good arc on my ball, and when things are off a little bit, it's a little flat and so kind of really focusing in practice and when I get my work in in between games on UM, having the appropriate amount of arc really makes that hoop seemed bigger than me when I'm shooting it. How much do you emphasize your hand placement on the ball. I obviously was. I'm not the NBA player you are the college player Drew was, But I the one thing I was good at was shooting the ball, and I always emphasized to like the kids that I coach now, hand placement and just having that kind of ninety degree angle underneath the basketball, Like, and you mentioned getting arc on your shot, and I mean it ain't nerdy shipped to me, Like, so that's why I'm gonna ask you. But just like do you emphasize that a lot with the arc or does that part of it not matter? Like what mechanics are you still adjusting to if any, but like that in particular with the hand placement, like is that an emphasis for you at all? Totally? Like it's funny you bring that up. Like They're a couple of games ago. I mentioned to one of our player development guys, I'm like, I'm not catching it right, Like something about the way the ball feels in my hands as I'm going up doesn't feel right, you know, And I was kind of missing more shots than I normally do. And we really like zoomed in and like watch some film over the shots that I was, you know, shooting over those couple of games, and like, sure enough, instead of you know, that ninety degree angle underneath the ball, I was here and you have to change the angle as you go and then you got to shoot it, which leads to a bunch of inconsistencies. And sure enough, Mrs So Um, it's funny you brought that up, Like that's something that we looked at and we identified and sure enough, the next day, Um, you know, on my own getting some work in like ship was cash. Um just because I you know, refocused and re emphasized, um, getting my hand back and underneath the ball. God, I love that. I love the nerdy ship man. Love. That's great stuff. I'm gonna add that to my game so I can break your three point record this year. Yeah, good luck. But what is it like playing with a guy like a mega star like Bradley Beale, Like, especially in your first year, Like, what are the challenges of playing with someone like that? But also you do get way more open shots because you play with someone like him. Yeah, the challenge it's it's like I was blown away. Um as to how much Brad, how how well Brad thinks the game, Um, you know, he obviously can score the ball with anybody in the NBA, but he just thinks the game at a different level. Like he sees stuff. He is the commander of our offense. He knows exactly where people need to be and for the most part, like makes the right play the vast majority of the time. Which more often than not is him shooting it because he's such a good score. But when he's when it's not his time to shoot, he makes the right play. And that's the mark of a true, you know, basketball savant superstar like Brad. I would think the challenge I with playing with somebody like him, just because he demands such a volume of shots because he is that good is there's a lot of time, a lot of minutes in between when I get to shoot the ball. Um. You know, sometimes it's a little bit shorter, sometimes it's a little bit longer. But you kind of have to create your own rhythm as a shooter. And know, I know that you know that that's that can be really hard to do sometimes. You know, if you go up and down the floor a few times, you don't touch it, Um, you feel like you're doing cardio a little bit, and then you're called upon to shoot the ball. Like that's a huge skill in the NBA, and it's something that I've had to work on. Yeah, yeah, you gotta be just dialed in the whole game. I mean, like that's what the great shooters have to do. But what's something that maybe like you've picked up on from Brad playing with him like as a like from a leader standpoint, just something he kind of passes down to you to the team, um or just one main lesson You think that, like you've really absorbed from him being around him now a year and a half. Yeah, I think, I think like, I mean, you gotta Like for me, it's you gotta. He shows us as you gotta play to your strength, and for him it's mid range game. He gets the basket and he knows that my strength is shooting the ball. So no matter what, no matter how the games going, no matter if I'm you know, five for five or over five, like that's six shot, better go up. And he instills that confidence to me no matter how I'm playing, if he swings it to me and I'm open or even barely open, like that ball has got to be up and um, you know over forty eight yeah, forty eight minutes in the NBA, like you're more often not going to play to your averages, and that turns out pretty good for a guy like me, you know, shooting from behind the ark. Hell, yes, it does absolutely. What would you say was your welcome to the league moment? You know, guys always talk about that. I'm curious. I haven't asked you about that ever. Yeah. Um, has someone dunked in your fucking face or across you so bad that you're like sorry, I don't mean to be I'm not disrespecting you. I'm just saying, like, have you had have you had the moment? Yeah, everybody's had the moment. Everybody's at the moment, and I think mine came. Um later on, about halfway through the season, we were playing in Memphis and uh, we're getting smoked. We were on the way to getting smoked that game and they got they got a break, came down the floor. Um, Jaren Jackson had it, threw a lob to John Moran. He caught it. John Rand's like, I mean, he's like six one, he's not really that tall. Can jump. He can jump, man. You y'all have seen it. He jumped, caught it, windmilled it, dunked it, and the place went ape ship. Um. And that was actually, Um, that was the play last year. I don't know if you guys are tracking with our season, but like on that play, Brad got hurt and was out for the rest of the year with his injury, and so not only did I witness probably the greatest allue I've ever seen, But like now it's core you gotta get in the game, and you gotta play now, and it's you gotta play the rest of the season. So um, I was introduced to playing a lot of minutes in the NBA that way. Yeah, because you're sitting there watching that, like, I mean, just like anybody else as a fan, like what the fuck, and you're trying not to react, Like you know, you've seen those videos of the dudes on the bench like kind of freaking out a little bit, like they're like, oh no, no no, no, like that's on our team. Like that's kind of what I felt like. I don't know if I really reacted on the outside, That's what I felt like. And then all of a sudden, it's like Corey, like take off your warm up and get in there. Yeah. What you mentioned, like just you know, being on the same court as a guy like John Ranton, things like that, is he or who would you say is the hardest player you've had to guard thus far, even if it was just for one possession, But maybe if you have someone that you like really had to stick with for a few possessions, or a whole game was your assignment, like just the toughest game you've had defensively. I mean, I don't I'm not at the point in my career where I'm getting matched up on the team of the teams like best players. You know. I'm not seeing like guys like Katie and Kyrie and um, you know, Lebron and all those guys every single night. But I've had a couple of long stretch is guarding Jordan Clarkson in Utah. And not only he's super shifty, he's super fast and he'll shoot anything, so like you have to be on a hype, like high alert all the time and you're running around and he's doing crazy ship with the ball, like trying to break you down and stuff, and like I've actually, I think I've done a pretty good job on him. But it's a full time job guarding Jordan Clarkson. Yeah. I can see why that would be, because he's like when he's hot, he's hot and he'll make Yeah. Um, you mentioned something about NBA or a player development coach, and I have to ask, was it Joe g K Because I know Joe, I know Joe. I gotta give joep my man's Joe. Shout out. He used to be my teammate my first year of college. Yeah, man, I gotta shout out Joe as well. It was not Joe, but I work with Joe every day. Um, he's He's one of the guys that I work out with pre game. I love Joe. He's I mean, he's like you'll you'll know you know, No, he's constant energy, Like he's so good for He's so good for an NBA sideline with how many games we play and how many days feel the same, Like Joe is money because you get the same guy every day. He ain't ever a different dude, like and it's just positivities energy. I miss being around him because of that. But I had to bring up my man because I know that you're definitely around him every day, probably working out with him, So shouts to him. Um. I got one last question for you before we go to break. Have you had a big or any sort of insecurity that I stood out to you when you entered the league that you maybe had to get over again, A little bit in debt, a little vulnerable with you, just curious because you're young guy. I mean, when I was looking up how old you were. I'm like, I'm older than this motherfucker. Like, and I still got insecurities. Ain't no way you're in the n b A and you ain't insecure about something like are we talking on the floor? Off the floor? Here on the floor, give us both floor, We're gonna go really, We're gonna go really really vulnerable here. Um, let's hear it on the floor. I think the biggest insecurity would be, like, I'm still getting used to the fact that I truly belong here, Like this is what I've dreamed about my whole life, this is where I've strived. I've strived to be my whole entire life, my whole entire playing career, and now I'm here, and like, I gotta make the most of it. And it's hard when you are playing so many games and things go up and down, like your emotions go with it, And so when you've had a couple of bad ones in a row, you start to look around and be like, man, I really, like, am I really that guy? Am I still like supposed to be here? Um? That's been a hard battle for me. Um, staying with it and staying mentally focused and like knowing and trusting that like, yeah, I'm good enough to be here and have a super long career and be super successful. And then off the floor, she's, Um, we got so many different guys in our locker room from so many different places and cultures and um, you know, come from different backgrounds and stuff Like I I've always tried to be the guy who kind of fits in with everybody, and that's resulted in me now always being like who I am a hundred percent. So if I'm winning in this crowd, I'll try to be more catering to them, or from this crowd, I'll cater more to them. So it's it's been a battle for me to kind of find my voice in the NBA locker room and like be who I am a hundred percent of a time, like no matter you know who cares. I knew you'd give a great answer. That's why I asked the question. There was a great answer. It was honest, it was it's just everything that a listener probably was like, you know what, I've never heard an NBA player talk like that. Now they have, Now they have shout out court. I'm an open book man. That's the kiss man. Um alright, fellas, we're gonna take a quick break here when we come back, though, a lot of reminiscing coming up as these two former Gonzaga teammates gonna reminisce a little bit, maybe even a little bit about that championship run. Maybe we'll shed some tears together because they lost. I don't know that was me and I'm sorry, guys, but stay with us. We'll be right back, all right, And we're back on so eight. They give me Timmy podcast with Drew, Timmy and myself Noah Buano here with our guests Corey kiss Bert Drew take us away real quick before we dive into it again. Guys, leave a star, write a comment, interact with the podcast, buy it, burn it something if you want some for the new year. We don't solid copies. You can't burn it, all right. I guess that's fair, all right, I want to right away. I don't want to be negative, but Corey, one negative side or one negative memory of Drew Timmy playing with him? What one one thing that just piste you off? One? There's probably give him give a couple of ranking. I was super when I when I like stepped on the floor in college I was super straight laced, like I was like business time, Like let's go time, let's kick the other team's ass um, Like let's take this really seriously, and like that's not the way that Drew operates. Like Drew is at his best when he's doing his little mustache ship and he's he's like talking to the other team and he's like playing to the crowd. And so like I me, Mr Business was always piste off at Drew because I thought he was doing all that extra stuff and like not being locked in. But like that's the way he plays, and that's the way he's like always been at his best. And it took me a long time to like come around of that um and now I appreciate it, especially watching him from my couch. Now that's great because like he just Mr. Jokey and like you'll, I mean, if you're the serious guy, probably was pissing you off, like what I mean, And I loved I loved it in the locker room, like Drew, Drew was my guy in locker room. He helped. He helped, Like everything I helped, our mood helped her, like you know, cracking jokes, being the being the jokes or whatever, But like when we stopped on the floor, like I was business and he stayed the same and I expected him to come with me on that you know, and he didn't. And it works, I will say, Like especially like my first year when I was like when Tillie went down, I was really starting to play. I could tell like there was always something like I'm like, am I having too much fun? Am I not having? Like? Am I too serious? Like I remember trying to find that balance, especially as a young because I mean, like you are Mr Gonzag, like you're the leader of the ship, and I was like, oh, ship, Like what do I do? And then like I finally I think it was like it might have been like a week after the San fran game. I feel like I finally like kind of like proved myself. You're like just keep just do whatever you just did, like it worked, like do it And that was like the first time I was like, all right, we're good, Like yeah, we got Corey, all right, We're good. Yeah, Corey undid his tie a little bit. It was still there, but he did a little bit top the top button. You went undone. I just undid that little top button. Yeah, a little business casual Corey. Yeah, yeah, Corey, what is your perspective, Like you're a junior, Timmy comes in as a freshman, Like, did you know he was gonna be as good as he is? Did you kind of like were you able to like kind of help him, just like show him the ropes a little bit for him to have that dominant saw more season your senior year, you know, thirty two and oh, like did you kind of know he was gonna have that big of an impact with you guys right away? Oh? For sure, for sure. I mean like we had such a good like I mean, Killiam was so good his freshman year, my junior he was so good, and um, you know he he could he could shoot, he could pass, he could dribble, you can make plays, you can can jump, he could run, you can do a lot of stuff. But like Drew was like always kind of working in the background, and you could see flashes of it in practice, you know, um, making plays, bring the ball on the bringing the ball on the break, making passes like Drew does, and um, you saw flashes of it. And then, like Drew said in that San Fran game, when kill got hurt, um, like it was just time to kind of let the dog out of the cage and like, you know, you just know that, like if you're if you're the main big at Gonzaga, like you're gonna eat. And Drew was the perfect person for that. With his post up game and how he brought the ball up the floor. It was a perfect fit. Um. And he was always looking for me to shoot threes too. He was always passing the ball to me, so that you know, of course I love playing with him. I gotta find my shooter, man, come on, man, Um, Alright, I mentioned a negative side, So let's get your best memory of him on the court. Off the court doesn't matter. Just maybe not off the court. Yeah, maybe we'll talk about that off the record, but yeah, on the court, best memory. God, while you think about that, Drew's probably got some great off court memories. I will say, while you think about that, I got my favorite more memory of Corey. Oh perfect. We're in my state, great state of Texas. We're playing Virginia and I have never and I repeat, never seen Corey so locked in and emotional in my life before the game. You know, usually we're kind of like we're kind of doing our link stuff. Shame we're talking a little bit in this dude, Corey just comes in, all right, guys, fuck this team. This dude, Like I'm not like this is it? Like they screwed me over, Like I've been waiting for this one. Like Corey was so like excited and like so locked in for this game that like it was like one of those things you're like, you don't you don't see it from him as much like it probably gets old seen it from me because I'm like that a lot, but like seeing it from Corey and then just the game he had and what he was able to kind of stick it to Virginia. It's just like that was like my favorite Encore moment ever. Corey, just how like passionate and excited you were for that game. I mean, for those that for those that don't know, Like I got recruited by Virginia um with Gonzaga, like they were the top two teams, and Tony Bennett like brought me into his office on my visit and was super like noncommittal, like we need to see more film on you. We don't know if you can play at the A C C level, Like we're just not sure yet. We have with one other guy that we're trying to offer and and it's you and him, we don't know. And then I went to Gonzaga and coach was like, listen, you're my guy. Like you're gonna be a four year guy here, three or four year guy your Mr zag you fit everything perfectly. We love you here, we want to build around you. And like that was it. Like that was the moment where I was like, Okay, I'm going to Gonzaga. And so I just knew as a matter of the time before we ended up playing Virginia and like Drew said, like I was locked in by the time we got off the bus. Um, Yeah, And I had the best game in my college career, like by far, nine threes thirty two points. I did a little bit of my research before because I read I was like, oh, this guy got snubbed by Virginia. Oh and then he had the chance to piss on him and he did. So you don't not a lot of players get moments like that. But the testament to you that like this kind of goes into like just how you know or what kind of solidifies good players as great players is like when you can just purposely lock in for a game like that and be like, yeah, tonight's tonight Like I was. We were just talking about this in the first segment with Drew, like I've been honest, asked to go get thirty in ten and I was like, I think that if you really just like full forty minutes, just tried to like you could easily get it. And he went and got thirty in ten because like he just you know, they lock you got you you good players lock in on something like that, and it just becomes this like, yeah, well it ain't that hard because I have the skill, I have the preparation, and then you go out and do it and it's it looks like it was supposed to happen. You know, it wasn't on accident. Absolutely. I couldn't agree more get and more often Drew the only one that did. You did you think of your best Drew Timmy on court memory or not? Yeah, Well, I mean mine's Drew, thank you for painting that beautiful picture, but mine's a little bit more general. Um. When Drew brought out the sweaty, grimy cotton headband for the first time, that warmed my heart. That was so inspirational, true, Like I was like, my god, I got a brother, Like we're both be wearing headbands to sick and then like after every play, no matter if you've got an A one or if I got A three, or if A running the break or whatever, it was always this, always this, and um yeah, it was awesome to like be on the floor with another headband guy, especially like especially Drew, Like we were gonna play it up to the max, and we did. It was so fun. It's quite the duo. Man, I don't I don't think he can never be top just Pete do on this with the headbands and everything. It was. It was awesome. And Corey is a guy who appreciates sweat equity, knows something that you were learning about. I was hoping you'd bring this up. I was hoping you'd bring it up Corey. On a previous episode, Drew and I got into it a little bit about his dirty ass headband that he's talking about. He's had since his senior year of high school. So all I was advocating for was like, hey man, maybe like you throw that out. It's four and a half or at this point, yeah, four four five years old, Like, but I don't I think I'm gonna be outnumbered here and you're gonna probably side with him on the sweat equity. Keep it for five years, too many buckets on it type of thing, that thing until it rips, bro I don't care. Ipect it. Corey. Talk to us about your senior year, your average A team points, your WCC Player of the Year, and you as your thirty two and oh and it looks like you're about to have the best finish to a college career ever. And I was being a dick before we went to break, but I truly do look back on that and like just feel bad for you guys, because same thing with thirty eight and one Kentucky. You know, like they couldn't get it done. Um so just like your career ending like that. But just talking about that whole season for all our Gonzaga fans that are listening, and you know just what it meant to you to even have am like you know, b thirty two and oh have that Final four historic win with the buzzer beater and you know, unfortunately not win, but just like that being your last year, Like do you reflect on it pretty often because it's so recent, Like just to break that down for for listening. Yeah, I mean I reflect on that year all the time, especially now being in the league where everything is so like business like and professional that like everybody in the everybody in the in an NBA locker room like talks about their college years because um, things change age when you come to the league. They just do. And um, Drew, you can chime in whenever you want. But like we were, we basically just it was the COVID year. Basically we're testing, you know, three or four times a week. Um couldn't really like go and do anything and risk like we had to shut the shut the you know, pause all team activities for ten days. And um there was kind of this huge made a bubble tournament and a Bubble um Conference tournament and all this. There's a lot of stuff going on, and we were around each other crazy stuff and we were on each other all the time. Like I mean, it was basketball and then like my housemates that I lived with and then that was it. Um. But what I'll say about that season, you know basketball side, like the group and the team was just like so fun to be around, Like we all got along, we all hung out together. Um when when and yes, we had to practice and yes we had to travel and do all this like shitty stuff, but like being with that group made it so much better. And like the fact that we spent all this time together because of COVID only made this team stronger because we were so close as a unit. And um, you know, think of talk to bottom, like I mean, Jalen Drew, Joel Um Andrew came on late, Anton was huge, Aaron Cook like all those, all those guys contributed to us winning. And the reason why we were able to string together thirty two in a row was with a season like that is because we're so tight. And that's what I remember most about that season. And yes we lost and yes became up short, but um, this is such a special group of individuals that all came together and we played lights out for the vast majority of the year. Yeah, I mean I remember, Like obviously was said that we lost, but like the saddest thing about that we was like, we're never gonna play again. Like this team, like all we did, I mean we in the bubble. We literally spent every day together like we're always playing FIFA some something and smash bros. Yeah, Corey tried to teach us Katan wasn't was pushing back on that one a little bit, but like I want to smoke in Katan, Cory, I played three games a day. Like literally the only time probably Cory and I didn't spend time together was when I had mandatory academic tutoring in our conference room in the bubble. Literally like Corey, Corey was on top of his academics and um I was not. But I mean like literally, like every everything you could think of we probably did as a team, like movies, UFC nights, Like it was awesome, and like just not having that again was definitely like the saddest part because like while each team again zaga special and like it's fun and all the guys are great, like that team just there was something different about that team, I would say, compared to like the other teams that I've been on, and even like this one, like the team was just so special. It's like we'll never play on a team like that again. I feel like it's probably what makes like going thirty two and Oh more like like why you guys went thirty two and Oh, because like those two teams and Corey, you probably have some good perspective on like how much those team dynamics from that thirty too and other team are different from right now with your Wizards team with you know, guys got kids, they got families, they got wives. Like it ain't really like just sit down, let's hang out all day kind of thing, you know, like you tell us, I don't. I'm assuming it's like that, But like the Dynamics, probably you're right, Like it's it's guys have their own clicks in their own groups and like their own people that they've got to take care of. And sometimes it's family or the boys from back home, or they're living with a group of people or whatever. But like you come together, you work out, play the game, and then you go and then like you know, you occasionally like go out together or you'll get dinners together or whatever. But it's nowhere near the same as college. Like if you're a guy who enjoys being social and enjoys being like around your teammates, like you got to really find a special place in the NBA special locker room for that to be the case. Um, And that was a huge adjustment for sure, one of the biggest ones I've had to make coming to the league. It's no knock on, like your teammates with the Wizards. It's just it's every it's every team dynamic is different. But would you say, like it's more like that with the Wizards team where this Wizards team that you're on where it's like a little bit you know, when you're not on the court, it's kind of divided like that. I mean, I wouldn't say divided because that's a bad word, but yeah, yeah, but I mean, like it's very much it's very much like the time that we're together is for the most part, the time that we're together. Like, while we're together, our locker room is great, like we like everybody likes each other, but it gets along. There's no like b for anything, um, no passive aggressiveness between players and stuff like that. So that's all good. But like it's just like I mean, if you were working at nine to five and you're going to corporate America, like very rarely do people hang out all the time with their work friends. Like you got your work friends and you've got your nonwork friends, and that's just what it is in the NBA A lot of times. Very important question for you, do you still get your hooks up early? In the morning. Drew, I was up this morning at four thirty five right hand hooks, five hundred left hand hooks, and I hit and I hit a hundred push ups in between. Yeah, I was, I was getting the hooks. Wow, that's music to my ears. Man. I'm I'm one of the lone hook guys left here that just gets him in every morning. Seven. We're actually getting up at four thirty. Oh yeah, oh yeah, you can speak for yourself. That was an absolute joke on Land. No. No, I mean I I I am kind of an early bird, Like I enjoy getting up early in the morning, but like they's just with the schedule and the games and how late we play and travel, there's just no way. Yeah, I know, Drew ain't getting up that early either. So now that's kind of been our just running thing, you know. Yeah, like court, you know when Corey gets in the post and hits this little hooks and I'm like, oh, this dude was in here because one of our assistant coaches just that's the workout. When you're a freshman big you get your hooks in and that is it. Shoulder shrugs, hooks, throw them in perfect form, flicked the risks, So uh, catch the roles, they move hook shot. That's all it is. It's a little banter, you know, Um what do you what would you say? Like you and Drew obviously aren't around each other every day, but you know, like those feelings of like you're with each other on a consistent basis for two years and you're like, man, this guy's my best friend or however, you know, you guys are great friends. Like and you leave and you go to Washington, he's still in spoken. It's like this not just applied to Drew, that could be applied to any of your teammates two different Washington's. Man, that's pretty crazy. But I feel this way a lot of times with some of my former teammates. Is like you're really tight in the moment and then like you you know, you have to go your separate ways, and there's like that level of maintaining your friendship. But like you ain't ever gonna be on the same day to day track as Drew or Drew as you Corey, like you know, I mean, so it's like you probably have so many connections and friends now that it's like you can't keep up with everybody. Yeah, that's a really good point. Um, And there's just different ways to do it. Man, Like instead of just playing video games with Withdrew every single day, it's like, you know, checking in on TikTok or d m and or Instagram or whatever, like he has a big game, I'll shoot him a text or like stuff like that. It just changes the interactions and the relationships change. And especially with my job now where i could be in d C for however long and then all of the like the snap of a finger, I'm in a different city playing for a different team, Like I'm just packing and moving, and um, it does help to be able to travel so much and have connections in different cities. And there's so many NBA teams in different cities that you can you know, touch some former teammates as you go around. But yeah, you're exactly right, No, Like it's tough. It's hard. It's hard to kind of go in from that college environment where everyone's being so close, like I I talked about earlier to you know, having to maintain communication with somebody over a phone. But it's tough. Like I would say, it's great, like we're like tick talking dem each other, like just you know, texting each other whatever, like but it's not all the time then like we get like on a podcast and it's like damn, like we're just catching up like we would in college or like you know, we saw we were able to see Corey play was that last year in Phoenix, Like that was super cool. Like it's like little things like when you meet up, it's like time just stops in that moment, like you're back to where you were. So like that's the cool thing just about like the relationships, I would say, especially with Koy because like we do keep in touch a lot stiff like relatively speaking, Yeah, and like that's that's a cool thing too. Is like there's just certain relationships where like no matter how much time is spent in between the times where you do talk and catch up, like it just picks up right where it left off. You know, there's just no there's just no like kind of awkward small talking like whatever. And and like there's a certain there's a certain group of friends and that you have and you make along the way that that's just the case and those are the ones you really want to maintain. You know, Man, do I hate that awkward small talk? They you it's like there's no way to dodge that. You know, Um, Corey, you still watching zag games? You keep it up paying attention. Yeah, well, I mean it's tough to catch the ones where you're playing alcorn State or North Alabama and they're broadcasting it on Roots Sports, Like I can't catch those. But I've seen all of the like big games. Um, I've watched all the big games for sure. Drew is down on you. He was like, uh, let's just do the first. We're not going to preview the games with him. He ain't. He ain't watching the games like he's in the Montana game. That was a Root Sport game. I know. I know, my friend Noah, what does roots Sports? Well, I don't even know what that is. The games are aired on like stadium dot com. I thought it's like fruit sports is like the local like news broadcasting for like the the channel you'd watch if you were in Montana or Idaho or Washington, like that's where the game would be broadcast. Well, I'll tell you this, I'm never going to Idaho or Montana, so there's nothing there for me unless you guys. Are you guys interested in those cities? That's where it's where we team bonding on the coaches Lake House. Man, It's it's quite. It's quite time Corey last interaction with Mark few go uh he texted me, Oh when did he texted me? I think I had a big home game. Yeah. I had a big game against the heat Um earlier this season at home and he shot me at tack. She's like looking good Corey, like he have the good work or you know, like and way to get to your two ft stop man, Yeah, it gets your money, shoot it to make it go. Yeah, that was the last time. Was that his Is that his go to? He's got so many just get he is the best impressionist of him too. And he brought it out right away. Yeah, well you have to. I can't talk about coach just automatically tried to bake him a little bit, but I knew it was coming. He called me. This scars me to this day. He called me. The first two years of my career, Drew wasn't there, wasn't around to hear this. He called me the dumbest smart guy he knows, because I would do a bunch of dumb ship on the floor like I would, you know fast. Somebody at the one and one and they go down to shoot free throws or whatever. I wouldn't I take a shot that I shouldn't be, Cory. You're a four point oh student, like you're and doing this dumb crazy stuff on the floor. Man, you're the dumbest smart guy I know, And that would bother me so bad. Oh my god, that was better than my nickname, which was dumbass for my first year. I mean, I would rather be called that, I guess. But yeah, beggars can't be choosers. The mental I mean, I don't want to call it mental abuse, but there's a level of like, dude, can you fucking stop? Man? Like, Yeah, I like, I really have grown an appreciation for coach for you as I've gotten older, right Like, he coached me really hard when I was young, gave me the keys when I was older, and now leaving like, I've got a really good appreciation for him. But man, his coaching style sometimes he's just always got little something to say, and he's always barking at your heels and drew his big deep breath, lets you know that he knows what I'm talking about. That it's just it's just something about it gets under your skin. Really he doesn't cuss you out. I literally said, it's all time. I wouldn't much rather him just literally get in my face and cush me out than what he does. It's he's little like annoying ass comments like my four year old can do that. I'm sixty and I can still show and make a pass cut Like it's like that ship hurts so much more than him, just like lighting you up. It's it's he has a certain thing about him where just it cuts so deep. My dog Stella could play better deep than you. Nothink. Laurence did like an old an old guy, older guy like just shipping on like a young high level athlete and being like I could cut harder than that motherfucker. Know you want um, we'll kind of wrap it up here, But what is you know in your NBA career? We kind of touched on, like who the player you kind of you know are hoping to be or working to be? Um, But do you have any like you know, I know NBA players are very like reserved when when people ask them about their goals, but like, is there a is a there a clear vision you have, like whether it's the amount of years you want to play or you know a couple of accomplishments you want to have, like just throughout the duration of your NBA career that you know sit in your mind early on. Absolutely, Um, the mark, the benchmark is ten years. I want to play in the league least ten years, um, for a number of different reasons. Um, that's I mean, getting a double digits is cool. There's some monetary benefit to that as well. Yeah, a little bit. And then uh, desinally that's that ten years longevity wise, Um, I want to win a three point contest and easy. Um. And then I want to I want to be fifty at least once in my career for a season. I think you got that two or three times in you. I think so that this year, this year it's been the I'm a little down in in a field goal percentage, I think, and it's been the figure is your free throws? A little? Free throws are killing? I think my research says the free throws I'll recently yeah, yeah, I was looking at this earlier. I think it's I think you're forty nine forty and there's no way like no, I mean, I went three for three today, so I'm chilling there, so I had to go out break. I think when I looked at it, you weren't. I don't have a lot of sounds. So like me right now about free throws. I went three for three today. It has to go up a little bit. We'll see Drew. People hack you, people don't hack me. So I got, I got, like, you know, two free throws here and then a free throw here, and then three more here. So I gotta really like lock in. Um, So I think I'm a probably what seventy eight? Now, maybe I might cutch you here if I go, like over the next couple of games. Yeah, I've watched games. Yeah, better than that. You're better than that, man, I know that, and I know that. I thinkfully we've got fifty more games left to play, which is yeah, I see that going up into the high eighties. You see mine going up to the seventies, high seventies. And now we've been talking about your free throw percentage for fifteen games. Now, what are you? You're still in the sixties? All right. Corey brought up the point where he has to lock in because he shoots so few, and I think Corey can testify to this. I'm a very like spacey guy, and like, you know, when practice goes on a little too long, I started looking or just talking being a jackass, you know. And like at the free throw line, I shoot so many sometimes it's hard for me to keep that mental edge, you know, So like I guess it's a double edged sword in that regard if if we want to look at it that way, we don't have to. But it's just a bro. They're three points, man, there's nobody guarding you. There's no time I mean, there's a little bit of a time limit, but you can take as long as you want. You're just three points, man. I'm gonna make you look better, that's all it is. Oh wow, that's up. I didn't want to say. Yeah, I didn't want to say it on the record, but we're talking about free throw percentage. So I mean, hey, you're you're shooting sixties. I said this in the beginning of shooting sixty from the field. It's mesmerizing that your field goal percentage could be higher than your free throw percentage. But listen, buddy, I still got belief in you. I do. That's all that I care about. Let's get to let's let's make it like seventy one. The D grade in the classroom. It's a D grade. You're not failing SS get degrees, man, we can we can shoot for that. That's true. Is academic model for sure. That's supposed to be off record, but through anything else. For for the former teammate before we slide off episode episode eight, I guess I would just say, uh, so the people know, I'm just appreciative for just how you lead yourself and carried yourself because I've kind of taken on your role. You know, you could look at as a headband passed down to me, but just your leadership and how you cared yourself and how you worked every single day. That's something that I've really really grown into and matured a bit, if you can believe it with the maturity, but you know, just taking that leadership and just kind of growing in that regard. I owe a lot of that to you and just how you carried yourself and lead this team. And UH as always man grateful to have you on the podcast, always catch up with you, and uh I can't thank you enough for all you've done for me and the program. Of course, man, pleasure was mine playing with you and sharing a court with you and anytime you want me to have I want me to be back on the pod Man like it's been fun. I would love to love to come back. You're more than welcome, man. We'd have a consistent, consistent NBA guest onward at home. Granted, Jalen sugs are too cool for us, but that you didn't hear that. Yeah, we all know that we got those. Those guys are big time. You know. I'm just a normal guy with a jumper, That's all I am. I'm glad to have you on. You're more than welcome anytime. Um, But yeah, I appreciate you coming on. Man. This was dope. I hope everybody enjoyed. That's a rap for episode eight. We will see you guys next week. Peace. This has been a presentation of the College Athletes Network.
