Hell, I'm first, just any car. Let me get this one in the minute. Okay, one was stuck out here.
That was for you, Scott, Okay, Okay, get excited, tell me right here, okay, okay, and then let's all kind of answer them.
Okay, So everybody kind of weigh in.
Who goes first?
Josh McSwain, you go first. What's the biggest feeling you have right now? I think my biggest feeling right now is hunger.
Are you kind of dry humor do you ever get like a real answer from you? Or is it he's going to give us some good lightheart?
You got to get the right question.
Okay, yeah, I feel that.
That's good.
You know, you got to keep it lighting right though.
Yep.
Okay, Wait, what about you guys, what is the biggest feeling you're feeling right now?
Well, I mean, since Scott just said it, it's just a feeling of enjoyment because I'm just enjoying the moment.
That's awesome, that's great. Have you felt it's just like the most you've enjoyed the moment. Since you've been on this journey, do you think.
I'd say, over the last three years, I've been feeling more and more, Yeah, enjoyable.
He's been going through a lot.
I mean he has, so I hope he does feel good because he's in a good spot.
Hell yeah, Okay, what about you? How are you feeling anxious? Anxious?
Why?
Because we got to go shoot damn social media contents after this and I don't.
Know where we're going. We haven't eaten anything yet. We gotta go like do that?
Yes, I said, we'll probably get some cocktails, and I'm just enjoying the moment. So I feel pretty good, right.
Drinking cocktails.
That's gonna make it a lot better.
Yeah, my feeling was changing the anger therefore.
Yeah, I mean that's that's something of stuff I'm trying to I'm thinking in my mind, all right, we gotta.
Do we gotta put this.
Yeah, what's next?
What's next?
Are we going to make it happen?
Okay? How are you feeling?
Scott?
Like I said, I'm enjoying the moment. I didn't look at my phone to see what was next. So you're like, you got ten minutes up and saying no, I'm great. We don't I don't know what we do next.
So I'm learning. I mean, it's just tools.
I'm learning.
You're doing great. Yeah, okay, let's hear what you got?
Very What's the little thing other people do that always means a lot to you? You know what it is? What? It's a twenty dollar bill in a birthday card?
You know what I'm saying.
Yeah, that's old school.
Open up a birthday card and it could be a five dollar bill, just cash.
I don't you know what I mean?
That is old school.
There not many people get that anymore.
Cash is king.
Yes, a twenty dollars on a birthday card. I mean who doesn't smile when that happens? Is anyone?
That's a lost art too? I know my grandmother always every time.
Yeah, that's the best. Okay, what about you? What makes you? What's your question?
What is it?
What's the little thing that other people do that always means a lot to you?
I like it?
It made me happy thinking about you know, there's a reason, like deeper meaning to it. But no, I mean, it's just a twenty dollars straight up.
Well, you know, every time you open a card, there's either gonna be money in there there ain't, so you open it up and when there ain't none.
In there, it's a well disappointing, damn.
Yeah.
But when it's in there, you're like, oh.
Yeah, shout out to your mom and daddy. They gave me a fifty dollars gift card on my last birthday.
I'm fine, that's nice.
So I'm gonna make you sure I'm buying like home depost stuff and you know you don't buy booze.
That I haven't done that good stuff.
What conversation or encounter that's a little thing that means a lot? You got answer?
Oh.
A little thing that other people do that mean a lot to me is when people cook for me, okay, like home cook yeah, fancy stuff.
Yeah, okay, just soulf it makes you feel good. I feel that, Okay.
A little thing that means a lot, I don't know.
Hmmm. Yeah, I'm thinking of my.
Cleaning up after something, you know what I mean, are tidying up or just something like that. Really yeah, it's nice.
Yeah, Okay, what about you, Scott.
I'm trying to think here, A little thing that means a lot? Mm hmm. The cooking was a good one. Twenty dollars bills.
Good.
Oh you like when people give you a cigar?
Oh well, I mean, if you're gonna give me things, I understand, but I'm thinking more of a gesture, you know, just smiling or something, just asking how you doing and talking to you for a minute. You know, that's good because a lot of people don't talk to anybody anymore. You're always on your phone. That's a good one. And the cigarete works too, if you want to give.
Me a cigaret.
Okay, what's your question?
It says I didn't know we're going to do all four? I see. Oh yeah, I was just worrying about mine.
I'm like, what conversation or encounter with a stranger will you never forget. I'll just take this to recently because I was thinking about once I heard recently, and it was we were in the Japanese restaurant with our nieces having dinner the other night, and they're just they loving it.
The guys, you know, just Chells.
A lot of times. They got a little humor to him, and we love humor and things like that. And he's making food and he's you know, doing his tricks and everything, and he starts dicing up the food and everything and he puts it on my platelists and he said, you know what to do?
You know what? You know what to do. I'll never forget that because because we've.
Been doing hey y'all and in our set, like in Mixed Cowgirl, Hey, no way?
Oh yeah?
And Josh, is that the part said you do you do?
You know? You know what?
Anyway, I just saw it was a trip with that guy, you know, the Asian man that like looks at me like you know what to do instead of.
Saying what's up? Passed that to you because I don't remember the last time I talked to us.
Conversation, yeah, encounter with the stranger.
That's what I just had.
We all, it was easy when I just had my one.
Though, what's the what conversation or encounter with the stranger? We never forget, all Right. So we were playing a casino one night and it's time for me to go to bed and I'm I'm sober, like I wasn't drinking at the time or anything, you know, and uh, this guy gets on the elevator with me, and uh, he's just like oh, He's like oh man, I lost again. And I lost again, I go back up and do some more cocaine. I was like, I go back up some more cocaine. I was like, okay, dude, whatever. Like well, he gets off on my floor. So we're walking out and he's like, all right, man, have a good night, have good night.
You want to to.
I was like, I was like, maybe back in the day I live, but nah, I'm good man, I have a good night. He was just flustered the whole time. He's like, every time I lose, I come up here and get me another two and I go back down and you want to.
To be from Georgia somewhere.
Yeah, Oh my god, I'm good man.
I'll never forget that. Yeah, I never forget.
Oh yeah, that'll lock in your brain. Yeah, okay, what about you?
Okay, mine, I consider this a stranger because we're not friends, but I knew who this person was. But we were playing a show and this guy comes up behind me in the bathroom and pass me on the back and goes, hey, buddy, and I look and it's Dirk's Bentley and I've never met Dirk's Bentley. I was like, I can't believe he knows who we are. He thought, this is really cool. This is a big moment. I turned around. I was like, hey, let's go on. He said, Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you were Gary Allen.
True story.
Have y'all ever reconnected over that story?
Not really, he wouldn't know it, would he I did smoke down on the back of his bus with him.
That was fun.
Y'all gonna have to help me with this one because I don't know any of this is anyone I told anybody.
I know.
I keep to myself for you.
Yeah, I mean that's where stay happy, just to keep it all.
Well, you know, I say, hey, how you doing. I'm they and I'm always smiling. So I give everybody a nod, but not many conversations.
Hey, I appreciate that. I'm trying not to have.
It anywhere, trying to think anything crazy. I know if we probably got somebody yeah.
That we'll give you a passot question.
Oh, this is gonna be easy when you imagine your happy place?
Where is it? And what are you doing there?
Now?
Do I have to imagine that old I tell you, yeah, I.
Kind of got.
I'm in trouble now because my wife's gonna know what I'm gonna say to this happy place, but now I got to so I'm gonna do both.
But the first is gonna be our hunting spot in Kentucky.
I know they were going to say that this is where we get to go and play farm, drive, tractors, mode, grass everything people call work.
I enjoy Bill, Bill.
Do it for work.
You used to have to do it.
So this is our spot and we get to hunt and fish and ride side by sides and whatever you can think. The guys love to do and girls because it's a fun spot. But now the second part is my father in law mother in law just bought up a house on Old Hickory.
Lake, and this place is the new spot.
I got a boat.
Now, I got a place to wake up on the lake this morning. I stayed, just stayed there last night, birds chirping, waking up on the lake, sunrise, A cup of coffee for an hour, no phone for an hour, just watching the sun rise.
Oh it's killing.
So I got too no strangers to have to talk to.
And that's got a couple of them, probably too no strangers to talk to.
The neighbor I I love.
I don't care where it's sat. If I'm in my jeep with my top down and I'm in the springtime, I'm good.
I don't care.
I'm can be right as long as I'm riding the top down. It's fun to me.
I thought you were gonna say a fishing hole in Hamilton's I do.
I do have a fishing pond out in Hamilton, North Carolina, Carolina where we go back home to that. I go out there by myself, and it is that's it. If I'm out there, I'm pretty happy.
That's another happy place. But that's two I got.
I got three.
Yeah, if I could drive my jeep out to the ponds, it's eleven.
Hours swing by Scott's Lake House.
It ain't my house, but I'm gonna use it like mine.
Oh yeah, married into it.
That's right.
Okay. What about you?
Well, my happy place right now is just being anywhere with my son. But last year we went to the beach and got an airbnb right on the beach. Just walk right out there, and that's that would be my happy place, me and him on the beach sunshine. Yes, his name is Domino.
I love that Domino.
Knox, little sweet thing. Okay, what about you?
Mine would be in my RV, camping somewhere with my wife and my dog yep, and cooking something good.
I love it.
None of y'all said anything having to do with music, Like literally, that's so great because y'all love music, but like y'all have detached enough to have like joy outside of music, and they're grind that's awesome.
Oh yeah, I have to Well, I think that's part of it.
That's how you can enjoy it.
I mean, I go here for three four days and then that drive back from Kentucky and then seeing the skyline and then there's another excite me, like I'm back and you're you're you know, rejuvenated, recharged, and you're.
Like, let's get it. Yeah, that's pretty cool.
And I think with social media, you can just get so overwhelmed seeing what everybody's doing all the stuff, and sometimes I'm like, man, I'm just music out. I don't want to talk about it. I want to hear anything. I don't want to see what I put on a podcast or and I just take a drive and I'm like I don't have anything to do to go build something or work on a tractor or you know, fix something. It's just sometimes you gotta let it. Oh yeah, I mean at this point we've spent a lot of time going on and over in your mind about music, this music.
Oh your whole life.
Yeah yeah, that's awesome.
Parmly, thank y'all so much for coming and everyone.
If y'all don't know this yet, Cowgirl the single is out and fell in Love with the Cowgirl is out. Y'all are on tour and just crushing it out there, crushing out life and crushing it be in.
Just an awesome band.
Thank y'all so much for giving me your time and your story and your energy.
This is amazing.
Y'all have awesome, have fun, she do social media.
Bye.
