Yes, you are just one of the most soulful singers I've ever known. You have island music coming through you. You're from Hawaii and you could hear it in the way that you sing the songs that you write.

You can just feel the love you shared about your father passing and how that greatly impacted your journey, your American Idol journey and your life and your music. And you have music out and Break my Heart Sunshine and Sunshine is out and.

Do you get back to Hawaii often?
Yeah? So he lives in So where is that? That's it's in the Pacific. That's where my my mom and dad are from there. Okay, born and raised in Tonga.
And then they I was born in Hawaii, but they moved to is it an island?
Yeah's island around like saw Moore, Fiji and like beautiful. Yeah, it's like a little islands. A lot of people go to Tonga because the whales like always go and like give birth or.
Oh wow that's special. But you're not born there. You were born in Hawaii.
Born Hawaii, same hospitals my dad was born.
Man, Why did your parents move from Tonga to Hawaii?
You know, I feel like why a lot of people moved to America? Okay, better life okay and just more opportunities and.
Yeah, amazing. Okay. My last question before wrap this up is what was it like meeting the Rock?
You really have a video of you and the Rock on Instagram singing was that I love him, He's incredible.
What was that like? Was that were you starstruck or was it just like cool? No big deal?
Oh I was star truck. I didn't really know what to say. Johnny was kind of talking the whole time, and I was just like, you know, just like waving like big fan, love me so much, big fan. But it was it was cool though. He was like he was talking story. We're talking stories. And because he came out for the my Idol performance.

Came out from an Idol's performance, I saying, because I'm doing the song on the Lego Stitch.
Oh yeah, the Lelo and Stitch soundtrack, which is so awesome. That's so fun. Okay, and that song is called Hawaii Rollers Wine Roller Coast Truck. Oh my gosh, it's so fun.
His kids were dancing, not that their background singers, and when I was on Idol, they were like singing the kids part.
Oh my gosh.
So it was really cool.
So you are like truly connected.
Well, I haven't met him before then, but now we are.

All the people in places that it leads you to. It's really quite the adventure.
