Gateway to AfricaWorld Tourism Day
In this week’s edition of Gateway to Africa, South Africa joins the world in celebrating World Tourism Day on the 27th of September at the Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga, the home of the Big Five. We feature South Africa’s minister of tourism Tokozile Xasa, her deputy Elizabeth Thabethe, CEO of SA Tourism Sisa Ntshona, chairperson of Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency Thulani Nzima and a visitor to the park and two tour guides. They talk about various aspects of tourism including increasing visitor numbers and marketing.
