This week we look at the forthcoming Park Dance #2 at the Durban Botanic Gardens.
And we take you on a tour of Maropeng Cradle of Mankind, one of eight UNESCO’s World Heritage sites.
Lliane Loots is the Artistic Director of FlatFoot Dance Company which together with the Durban Botanic Gardens are staging Park Dance #2 after a successful Park Dance #1 early in the year. Park Dance #2 sees FlatFoot Dance Company partnering with Durban’s Kathak maestro, Manesh Naharaj to celebrate the confluence of ancient and contemporary African and Indian dance. She tells us audiences love to see theatre production in an open space like a park.
