In this week’s edition of Gateway to Africa, Unathi Henama says tourism is the answer South Africa’s economic decline. This in the wake of declining commodity prices and a depreciating local currency. Henama, a lecture of tourism at the University of Pretoria and a newspaper columnist also comments on other issues related to the tourism sector, including the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital which has now been officially opened.
