Gateway to AfricaSA Tourism Month
In this week’s edition of Gateway to Africa, SA Tourism launches Tourism Month in a festive ceremony attended by the minister of tourism, local government authorities and the media. Tourism month in actually in September and is intended to inspire South African to travel their own country. Government sees tourism as an important sector to create jobs while the world economy is in a slump. Also in the programme, a local film KROTOA is now released in South Africa during Women’s Month after it won numerous awards across the world.
